NE Ohio life-long Cavs fan. I thought my vitriol would give that away. Kyrie has pretty much frustrated me for like 6 years now outside of a few spectacular playoff performances. He's one of those guys who entertains you with his handle and finishing, but he doesn't show up half the time and he's basically been the same player his entire career. I've heard the new and improved Kyrie shit a hundred times already, but the numbers remain the same. He has another shit 7/21 game with 5 assists and 3 to's and ESPN writes glowing shit about him.
Stevens has an amazing ability to get his team to care about the regular season, but they'll get their head caved in come playoff time as they have the past few years. They have a bunch of guys who'd be fantastic third options on a real contender. Hell, even Love kills Horfraud every playoff and Love rarely kills anyone anymore. They are just the quintessential regular season stalwart who is drawing dead to make the finals. Brown/Tatum look for real though, but young guys wither come playoff time. The Celtics have a bright future, and they're longer and more athletic, but they have no more finals equity this year than last year unless Lebron gets hurt. So much of the good basketball podcast world revolving around Simmons and guys he gave a job to doesn't lessen my hatred of all things Celtics. I like the pods, but they're shameless when they throw the Celtics into every conversation when they don't have a top 10 player in the league on their roster.

The defense has been atrocious and while when Thomas comes back he will help the scoring he won't be helping the defense.
Prediction- Cavs either punt their roster ( GTO move) or they do not make the conference finals. If they do make the conference finals whoever they play will destroy them unless there is some major changes. I probably sound a little like Max Kellerman here when he talks about Bradys decline coming but this is not about Lebrons decline this is about the roster and the writing is on the wall here. THis Cavs team is old and cannot play defense
