Well as I said, the fouling saved me, because the game was close. But boy... when they're averaging 60 per quarter, and you just need 38 to win the pick in the 4th, it's a fucking joke when it gets to 0:29 and you're still 3 from a win.

So I had another 3-1 NBA day.

Season so far:

Overall: 8-3
In game: 1-1
Sides: 3-2
Totals: 4-0

Only bad loss was the Chicago one today, where they got blown out. Other two losses have been by 1 and 3 points.

Dunno what I am gonna do about NFL. I hear the Texans are planning some big protest over some nothing burger statement their owner said weeks ago. I am so over the NFL right now. All the faux outrage and moral panic is just insufferable at this point. I might do my own boycott and not bet or watch any NFL tomorrow. Haven't decided.

I wish I was doing better in NBA, so I could just focus my gambling there. But NBA is brutal for me so far this year. I am like 3-12 or something insanely bad like that. NBA I only like to bet home teams and Every day the home teams go 5-2 agains the spread and I somehow always bet the ones that don't. Today I had the Mavs +1.5. They were down 2 and Ferell got fouled not the final shot. So 2 free throws to tie and OT, or ideally he makes the first and misses the second and I cover there. He goes 0-2 (missed the 2nd on purpose) and that is that. Pretty much how my whole season has gone.

This is brutal. I had USC/Az St O58. The game is stuck at 58 and is a blowout and I am just watching this annoyed as hell for a 4th Q score that may or may not happen. USC is in scoring position, but I have no clue if they will even bother. Probably not.

USC has had 2 backup RBs get hurt in garbage time. Serves them right. Maybe try running some real plays instead of just running your RBs straight into 5 guys every play behind 3rd string linemen.

Edit: USC scores on a pick 6 with under 1 minute in game to take it over. I have had so many brutal backdoor beats in garbage time this year I will take it.

If I could give a suggestion, if you're betting home teams, look for the ones where there is a seemingly much better road team with an inexplicably low favorite line such as -2 or -3.

If the public seems to be going heavy on the favorite there (as they usually do in those spots), and yet the line isn't moving (or is moving the opposite of what you'd expect in this situation), then bet the home dog.

It seems like Vegas has a good feel for when the "much better" road favorite is about to shit the bed, and you can capitalize on that while most of the public loses.

The one team I don't fuck with here is San Antonio, because they seem to be able to often defy this and win anyway. I know they got blown out the other day in a spot like this, but I've seen way too many times where they just keep repeatedly performing better than expected.

This is why I picked New Orleans today, along with the facts that Cleveland tends to underperform in the early season, plus Thomas was out.

U do no the team that wins the game covers the spread over 75% of the time? Do u all no this? The points rarely come into play when betting the NFL.
