They kinda can't, because he'd auto-appeal and they wouldn't hear the case until the series was over anyway. There are zero avenues for a player to get suspended right away without an appeal first. Never heard of an appeal in ANY sport being heard within 2-3 days, which is pretty much when it would have to be to even affect game 7. An appeal is no good to the player if they (and their reps) can't prepare for it.Don't know how appeals work. It can't be heard quickly?

Giles has literally blew up every appearance this post season sans one, already almost cost them game 2, and then he's allowed in, in this situation, then allowed to blow the tie which was clearly going to happen.
