The "narrative" is now that the shooter utilized the freight elevator.

Those who are more informed on casino protocol, does it take special access to gain entrance to those?

I have walked from the casino floor into the "back of the house" at 30 or 40 casinos, with at most a white visitors badge. Most don't even bother with a card swipe because there's nothing particularly secure back there. It's like the employee dining room and locker rooms. Where they do have a card swipe, you just have to wait 10 seconds for the next person to go in or out.

It doesn't particularly make sense that he would use the freight elevator. It increases his chances of getting caught and offers basically no advantage over the regular elevator.

I've been checking out the conspiracy forums since this happened, and normally by now, they'll have a few decent leads to get their teeth sunk in to.

But they have nothing, like seriously nothing. (check RegGaymer & co)

Though the lack of conspiracy investigation within its community, is I think, largely down to the lack of information given out by the police, who claim to have no real information to give out anyway.

Reminds me of MH370 in some ways. Everybody is DESPERATELY looking for clues and answers, but nobody has anything tangible to offer really.

The families grief will be turning to outrage (and conspiracy thoughts) if somebody soon doesn't start giving them answers. I honestly feel bad for them.

This whole timeline thing is mind boggling. First the security guard was shot after the shooting started. Then it was BEFORE (which would be kind of odd since I think he said it was a smoke alarm going off that drew him to the room initially). Now there are people challenging BOTH versions...WHEN THERE ARE CAMERAS ON EVERY SQUARE INCH OF THE HOTEL, AND THE SECURITY GUARD IS ALIVE TO TELL!! How in the hell DO they not know? This is IMPOSSIBLE.

What a clusterfuck. They are hiding something, but who knows what it is.

I'm sure this is the prelude to a "report" coming out saying "nothing to see here, lone shooter, crazy, case closed, we won't be commenting any further TY and good bye". Keep an eye on those civil suits, I can't imagine ANYONE involved wants to get disposed(and have the actual truth come out), and the casino has the money to pay all these people off and make sure that never happens.

According to MGM management there are no cameras in the hallways of any of their hotels due to "privacy" concerns.
