I've been checking out the conspiracy forums since this happened, and normally by now, they'll have a few decent leads to get their teeth sunk in to.

But they have nothing, like seriously nothing. (check RegGaymer & co)

Though the lack of conspiracy investigation within its community, is I think, largely down to the lack of information given out by the police, who claim to have no real information to give out anyway.

Reminds me of MH370 in some ways. Everybody is DESPERATELY looking for clues and answers, but nobody has anything tangible to offer really.

The families grief will be turning to outrage (and conspiracy thoughts) if somebody soon doesn't start giving them answers. I honestly feel bad for them.

There are extraterritorial groups of terrorist that work in clandestine with agents in their perspective nation state covertly that we will never know about, i say that because if we look back in history these type of groups have existed in the past, no one knew they existed until they were no longer useful to the people who were funding them, or they just were defeated and exposed. I don't believe he was a whale And in fact, he mostly stuck to +EV or small -EV machines, so casinos didn't love him as much as it's being portrayed. I think he ran enough coin-in to get comps, but he wasn't someone they would do something unusual for, such as getting hookers for him. That sort of thing tends to be reserved for the really high rollers, as it's very illegal.

Also, note that his girlfriend was his own age. I don't know how much this guy really cared about sex. If he really was an old perv, he likely would have used his money to score a hot young chick, not a 62-year-old.

It does seem he probably cared about Marilou, thus sending her away and shipping $100k to her as a way to keep her out of the way and give her something as a goodbye present. The fact that he was dating a woman his own age shows that this was more about companionship than sex, so I'm questioning the prostitute thing.

Pretty sure this fiasco has tipped the scales for me to wean myself off of social media. It's just too painful to read anymore. Stupid people who have been known to be stupid their entire lives are now internet detectives that know better than professionals. There is no convincing them otherwise cause some dumb fuck in Florida for example with the ability to freeze a video sees something that "might" look suspicious and posts an hour long video of retarded ramblings from a braid dead gimp saying that they think metro was there shooting concert goers. Meanwhile, not one eyewitness account of that, not one video, not one nothing...

Couple all of this with the Dan Bilzerians of the world and it becomes a douche cocktail that is too hard to swallow.

I've big respect for the FBI after they achieved the impossible in bringing down FIFA.

But with the skills and resources they have, how have they not found anything yet? It beggars belief tbh. And likely leaves us with just two options.

1) This went down exactly as we seen on TV and Paddock was a loner with evil intentions which he never shared with anybody, ever.

2) Authorities are conspiring the truth. How deep or shallow the conspiracy goes will forever remain guesswork only.

Investigative journalists wouldn't stand a chance. For a number of reasons, I doubt many would even go there anyway.

3) There is no option 3, as it wasn't ISIS.

from a news report i read it said he has no natural children of his own, and i dont know if thats even true.
of course im no expert but if you were wrestling with the urge to shoot a bunch of people surely its easier to convince yourself to do it if you are not leaving behind children and grandchildren who will always be associated with the incident.

It's not an irrational fear.

I see the same thing happen all the time in politics.

Unfortunately, compromise is often confused for weakness. Once a compromise is reached, often the floodgates are open to where such changes are considered the new normal, and then more extreme laws are passed in that direction.

This is a phenomenon of American politics (both parties), and is not confined only to the left, so please don't misunderstand me.

However, I can guarantee that many Republicans are afraid to agree to some reasonable automatic weapon gun control measures because they are (rightfully) afraid it will empower the anti-gun contingent on the left to start the movement toward full gun control.

It's not even difficult to see the cycle.

Republicans: "Okay, we agree to ban assault rifles and other guns which can be turned into fully automatic weapons, but nothing else."

(time passes, there are no high-profile mass shootings, simply due to luck)

Democrats: "Look how well our measures worked! However, we still have a very bad gun violence problem in the US. Here's another gun control measure which will fix that problem, yet everyone will still be able to have a gun to defend their home or busniness."

(bill is passed, shootings go down, but not necessarily because of this measure, similar to the decrease in violent crime from 1990-2013)

Democrats: "Well look, our measure worked again! Clearly we are onto something with gun control saving lives, which we've been saying all along. It is time to get with the rest of the civilized world and ban gun ownership..."


If I were a Republican lawmaker, I would refuse to compromise unless part of the compromise included Democrats pledging that they would not be pushing additional gun control legislation in the future. Of course, that promise can't be binding, but it would help for political purposes, and thus possible derail the efforts of those attempting to use this tragedy as a stepping stone to enact full gun control.

Simply put, look at some of the loudest proponents for changing gun laws right now, and you'll see they are also for full gun control.
