Yah vodka made perfect sense to me that night. I really regretted telling you who I was. You were playing absolutely god awful, and being incredibly mean and racist to everybody. You said "wheres Dan Druff?" and we started talking. Once I told you who I was, you became nice, and started playing decent.

My account had more money the next day somehow. All I really remember was trying to get the table to straddle. I must have raised dark utg for two hours straight. I honestly don't remember you telling me who you were. I thought it was DanDruff the entire time. Once you have the table rep as the huge fish you just shift gears and collect for an hour. Remember both tables ended up breaking and it wasn't because I left!

Theory (as heard on No Agenda podcast) - Paddock was an arms dealer, and gambling was his method of washing the money. Doesn't fully explain his motive, but it isn't too far fetched given the amount of firepower, shady background, frequent moving, arsenal at house, two cell phones, etc.

At any rate, again, I don't give a shit who she writes for, what her posts say, or any other conspiracy theory ISIS bullshit. Until there is some fucking EVIDENCE other than ISIS and some reporter saying so, IT'S NOT WORTH DEBATING!

Sorry dude, but I live here. This happened 12 miles from where I live in a place where I go a lot. I was at LIB... I was on the strip right before this happened. My mom drove in between Mandalay and the concert about 45 minutes before this happened. This hit close to home like I don't think you can understand. I have friends and employees that were there that were directly effected by this. I've had to comfort stressed out employees the last couple days who are in tears over this shit.

I've had to read bullshit conspiracy theory after conspiracy theory from people that don't live here, and all it does is hurt the city that I call home. I'm sorry you think I'm a douche for not wanting to debate something that has no evidence to support it other than words from ISIS and a reporter, and if I seem like a wuss over all this shit, frankly, I don't give a fuck.
maybe i took it more harsh than what was intended, but when you said i was "embarrassing myself" i took that as a personal attack. perhaps i overreacted. did i mention the awful week i am having on draftkings? anyway, i did not think about your personal situation and feel a little bad about the name calling, so apologies.

i really think i should clarify something though. i originally said i am "leaning to it being ISIS" or something like that. i didn't mean to say i think it probably was ISIS, only that the ISIS possibility is a slightly more plausible possibility out of all of them out there. that being said, i still think it's under 50% and i will not be telling anyone "i told you so" if it turns out he was radicalized, cause that's really not what i'm saying.

i just think callimachi's tweets on the subject are interesting and no less worthy of consideration than any of the other theories we have going on here. also, i don't think it's fair to say there's "no evidence" he was radicalized, but i've already explained why i feel that way so i won't rehash it

I've still not given up on the wealthy guy loses a shitload of his money assumption, but this is looking more unlikely.

Thing about when people are wealthy is they can see their financial downfall coming, could spiral on for years even once the tipping point is reached.

Was he on the verge of being forced to sell assets and did he have borrowings, that's what I want to know... along with all markers and gambling history.

My biggest fear is this is the start of extreme irrational ultra aggressive behavior by many because of years of psychoactive pharmaceutical use as well as certain pain meds prescribed by doctors starting in the 90's. We could just now be seeing the beginnings of the long term effects of these drugs... Granted, this was obviously a very extreme situation and outcome, but...

Been saying for years this is more a mental health issue than a gun issue. Don't get me wrong, IMO certain gun laws need to be implemented, but this is by far more of a health crisis than anything. You have to have the mindset to do this type of shit. That's the root of this issue. Get rid of certain guns and make it harder for whack jobs to cause mass casualties of course, but we have to attack this problem at the base of its stem, and that's without question mental health. I believe the heart of the problem is what I said above. We don't even know the long term effects of these drugs on people who were still in the womb when they're mother was taking certain drugs. This shit could be starting that early. It's going to take decades to unwind and again, we might only be at the beginning of a giant epidemic.

We might even end up with a bunch of Flakka like symptoms from a lot of this shit over time.

Aren't you worried about the same government that allowed all that shit to be put into the pills to now be in charge of marijuana? I know this is your job but if this gets to the point of buying Marlboro Greens at every 7/11 isn't there a chance all the same things start happening?

LOL... The government isn't in charge of marijuana. Private businesses are, at least currently, and I don't see that changing, really ever. Big corporations taking over, of course, it's already happening, and yes, that would concern me to some degree. Not for the same reasons I stated above though. More like GMO type of worries, which for the most part we don't know the long term effects of those either. Both are not good, but it will take many decades for that to happen with cannabis.

100% a mental health issue, and I think it will be very hard to turn around.

Of course you're totally biased being in the natural medication business.
I'm biased too, hugely pro pot for numerous reasons.

In regard to guns, I don't think you can seriously ban a bolt action rifle so why bother with an assault weapon ban?
Are you going to ban say a Ruger Mini 14 too?
Seriously, he could have killed more with a well suppressed bolt action sniper rifle, those bump stocks don't look like anything that would improve my aim.

Banning certain guns is sitting on the fence, banning them all is not realistic either I think in your country, horse has bolted.

It really is not about certain guns that are made mostly from composite materials and look sinister. This assault rifle nonsense-word should just disappear. A GUN IS A FUCKING GUN in the wrong hands they kill with ease.

Kind of shocks me that it doesn't happen more really. We've got almost twice as many people as when Whitman went off, or that San Diego McDonald's guy, with a far worse economy, more plentiful and powerful guns, and possibly the worst mental health system since the 1920s. Add in political polarization and religious extremism, and it seems like there would be a hundred people contemplating something like this everyday. i probably know a half dozen people who it wouldn't shock me to see go off. Not at randoms, but at co-workers or just whomever pissed them off on a given day. I expect mass casualty events just to keep ticking upward given the toxic cauldron of anger, vitriol, and idiocy that defines the American experience right now. It's desperate times for many, and malice is the temperature in our collective room.

A guy like this though, he isn't detected regardless of how many safeguards were in place. Sure, commonsense gun laws would help, but he had the resources to obtain them even if we had strict gun laws. He had the resources for the best mental health care if he chose to avail himself of their services.

These types of incidents shake people more than terrorism even, because there you at least recognize the motive. This shit has you looking at your old white neighbor sideways and making up motives.Humans struggle with the fact that some small % of the population is simply defective, and you might never know why. We're the largest country that isn't tightly monitored like a China, or simply more religious like an India. When you add the arsenal building opportunity, it's simply going to keep happening. Eat, drink, and be merry is pretty much all you can do. You're not going to guess right, and we're all dead men anyway. The saddest part is going out to some redneck dirge, but that's just me.

I have personally seen IRS agents with riffles right before they play G I Joe and arrest some tax evader, very interesting to find out Paddock could have possibly have been a defense auditor, that would explain his knowledge of riffles and experience firing them.

Listen baldylocks, I'm sorry you're an intellectual retard, unfortunately these things can't be fixed - especially at your age!

It's obv to any rational thinker that Dan Blizerian is in on this hoax with the Sheriff etc, along with whoever else pulls the strings around them parts

It would be v easy to control and stage this shit show on a Sunday evening in Vegas of all places

More and more people are waking up to these fake shootings, yet you still believe it all played out the way it was reported

    Bless

Carry on speculating about ISIS and mental health like you aren't handicapped in the head.
