Also, apparently this country music festival was his second choice.

He initially tried to target the Life is Beautiful Festival from September 22-24, but couldn't get the room he wanted at The Ogden, so he switched his plans to the Mandalay Bay and this country festival.

So it looks like the country festival wasn't targeted for the type of music or its fans, but he simply wanted to shoot a massive crowd of people.

OMG. God, I thought I was running bad in September, but turns out I was running pretty good.
