We live in Oldsmar which is literally on the northern tip of Tampa Bay...we are evacuation level B so we are out of state at a "secret location"now. Hopefully we can go back Tuesday or Wednesday and I will post some pics of the damage if there is anything interesting. We're not boarded up or sandbagged (when we left FL Friday morning we still thought it was going up the east coast) and we have a pretty flimsy pool screen so it seems like damage is likely.

Still alive. Lost power a few times already but it keeps popping back on.
On and off winds going now. My uneducated weather ass thinks it was the "outer bands" that have hit us the last 12 or so hours and we are in a gap before the main body of the storm hits us in another 4 hours.
Neighbor lost a palm tree overnight but there doesn't seem like any real damage yet.

The house is inland about 6 miles.

We have one of those little lakes that every community has around here. It's about 30 yards from the back door. That's not gonna be good.
I had booked a flight down for 2 weeks beginning Oct 3. It's one of my favorite regular vacations - watching playoff baseball at night - restaurants, beach & boating before the unwashed masses of snowbirds come down for the winter - streets turn into something like LA. Now it looks like I'll be working or looking to contract a bulldozer.
Pooh, is nearby. He used to have some other property here too. I dunno if he sold them. He has a business exposure too. I'll try to raise him and get him to post. There is half a chance he is gonna ride it out. He ain't that bright.
