Anyone here about bitcoins chain split possibly on August 1st? I'm not highly familiar with all the bitcoin lingo but a friend brought this to my intention. Wasn't the last split pretty profitable for people owning bitcoin?

i own a decent amount of BTC, but have zero clue what this split stuff means. There are probably about a handful of people who actually understand this shit. I just hold and hope it works out. Anyone who thinks they understand this stuff outside of like 10 people on the planet is delusional.
