these guys are betting $5 a hand across 4 tables.

earlier they each bet 1500 (they're mimicking their bets) and it hit.

sysop is good people and i know he means well wth his post.

however, i am kinda bummed he brought that up.

    interesting parallel:

this thread has almost as many views as that one. and this ones 3 days old.

also, that was a long time ago. not a few short months.

Let me know the buyin and time. Agree to the 60-40 stake (with stake back first) and that you will pay out my portion to either Drex or Todd. I will ship either of those 2 the buyin for the event (drex by Bank account or Todd by paypal).

    Briefly met Larry today.

I see he's having fun with Brandon tonight.

Brandon has really been a great host to all of these out-of-towners coming in for these stakes.

I think it's great that several in this community have volunteered their money (cmoney, simpdog, Hockey Guy, handicapme) and time (Brandon) to make the WSOP dream come true for certain members who have never played before. Warms my heart.

I am coming back to Day 2 of the $3000 6-Max Limit Holdem event. Chips aren't so great, but I'm not in desperation mode just yet. Writeup: https://pokerfraudalert.com/forum/sh...l=1#post670436

This is like an old Batman TV show cliff hanger....

    Will Larry move to Vegas?
Will Larry ride a bike that has a motor?
Will Larry's positive rep hold until end of year?

I guess I should figure it out

I also want to state for the record that I was one of the few who liked Larry the entire time, and held firm in my refusals to ban him, despite countless requests to do so (both public and private).

While some of the criticisms of him were valid, I always felt everyone was being too hard on him.

Recall that current beloved forum figure michael, who also derived the benefit of being staked this year, was also initially disliked when he came to the community. In that case, I was also pro-michael. (This was 10 years ago, I believe.)

Sometimes it just takes a bit of time until n00bs integrate properly into this community.

I am glad to see that people think more positively of Larry -- at least for now.

Just wanted to say thanks to Larry and the others who have posted in this thread...I have an incredibly boring 9-5 desk job, and pulling out my phone every once in a while yesterday to check on Larry's progress made the day much more bearable. It was nice to see all the support from the PFA community...I've been reading this forum for a little over a year and this has definitely been the most enjoyable thread to read.

Larry, if you go back in 2018 and want to try and sell pieces, and you keep the trip updates coming, I would be in for $100-$200 worth (I don't have c-money or handicapme money). Not just because of yesterday's performance, but also in honor of you being probably the only other poster on here besides me that knows how to correctly pronounce Potawatomi. (I used to live in Milwaukee, and played there literally the first week they opened their first poker room back in the early 2000's.)

Good luck if you end up playing in another tournament this week!

Larry went from despised to a legend with this stake and his Rep recovered.

He looks exactly how I'd imagine.

Although hes a cuck, I always liked the little alpha. Anybody who can go toe to toe with the great of all time, Tyde, has my respect.

The other day I saw him attacking Tyde in 4 different threads at the same time. In my 12 or so years on the forums, I don't think I've ever seen that before.

It is interesting how this happened. I never quite could post anything negative about him and I can now say I don't mind him at all. I'm on a trip with family in Central London, UK. No worthwhile gambling here for me...except maybe poker but I haven't played.

Thanks Cmoney, Drexel, Druff, Larry and the rest of the Dream team for giving me something to check out online whilst here. Yes...WHILST.

BTW haven't been to Europe in 2 1/2 decades...London is a very social freaking city...nice change from North America.

Walk into one of the 10,000 plus betting shops in London and place a nice little tax free bet onto anything you like. Maybe even fire up Stars from your phone and play a little poker.

You're in the real free world now. Breathe it in and enjoy.
