Exactly what are your expectations? You are probably just going to get there and meet Larry, and just slowly drift away and and be like 'fuck that was a waste of time'. When I meet strangers in any setting, I generally pop my head in for a few minutes and size up the crowd and see whats in it for me. If nothing I just take off and explain to the person whom invited me I was not feeling well. If there is nothing in it for me I am fucking leaving in 10 minutes.
