I feel like most of the scenes from the end of this season should have happened at the end of last season. The whole Kim to Chuck "you're an asshole" speach from two weeks ago should have been weaved into the conclusion to season 1.

Honestly I thought this was going to be a lot more light hearted than its turned out to be. And thats not so great, considering how unbelievably claustrophobic and awful his life is now. I thought season 1 was a lot truer to Jimmy's character and was kinda buoyant but this is basically turning into an emotional snuff film.

Great season of a great show.
Hector "Tio" Salamanca was severely handicapped in Breaking Bad, that could have easily been the result of a sniper rifle.
No it couldnt have. If you watched BB you would know this.

IMO at this still early stage, i venture to say that some are maybe being too critical. I mean, we received some of the same ho hum moments in BB (like with Skyler etc), and the show turned out just fine in the end run

I'm not taking shots at its artistry, I'm just saying all this emotional torture/turmoil isnt really what I signed up for, personally.

Like real talk I consider Bob Odenkirk largely beyond reproach in all things, so this isnt me shredding GoT writers for being a hive of shivering faggots, for example.

The network announced on Saturday that Better Call Saul, the Breaking Bad prequel centering on lawyer Saul Goodman/Jimmy McGill (Bob Odenkirk), will return for season 3 on Monday, April 10 at 10 p.m. ET. The date is a little later than usual, as previous seasons launched in February. (In related news, brace for the return of Breaking Bad villain Gus Fring, played by Giancarlo Esposito. And for a recap of the BCS panel at TCA Winter Press Tour, which featured a surprise appearance by Esposito, click here.)

WTF, not a very good finale for season 3. Fargo season 3 finale was also a dud, and The Americans ended flat this season.

The recent golden age of television is over.

Saul was solid this season but man no fun at all.

Thought Fargo was subpar (big fan of s1, MASSIVE fan of s2) and first time agreed with others that Americans was a bit of a snoozefest.

Please give me more Gomorrah. Just paid for s2 so I can rewatch on an upcoming flight to Singapore.

I read that they wanted to end the season in case they don't make a season 4.

Saul died at the Cinnabon after realizing he can't do the job that he loves
Chuck killed himself after realizing he can't do the job that he loves
We have a complete backstory on Mike and Gus and realize Mike kind of knows how it will end
Ding! Ding! We see how Hector ends up in the wheelchair.
It's implied that Gus knows Nacho tried to kill Hector IMHO.

I think the fact that thy didn't know if there would be a season 4 or not kind of handcuffed them.

URL? According to a direct quote from G&G, 100% of the holdup for signing Season 4 is Zack Van Amburg and Jamie Erlicht leaving Sony and no one being entirely sure who needs to sign what over there. Plus the show is still racking up awards, maintains a reasonable number of viewers, and has super low production costs, so it strikes me as a bit odd, this claim that they felt compelled to wrap up loose strings.

Of all the outrageous and offensive things I've ever read on this forum, this is the most awful of them all.

Your opinion, good sir, is the the dirt worst. You don't deserve this show.

    This.

My minor gripe with Breaking Bad was that sometimes it descended into grief porn and Saul does it even more.

Good show, but it's a spin off with the comic relief and it somehow has less humor.

It has virtually no humor. Like its a straight drama at this point, and the sheer volume of human misery at bar is genuinely difficult to swallow at this point, it feels legit unbalanced.

IMO the tarpit it got caught in was the relationship with his brother. A for effort but B- for execution; it eclipsed everything else, my cup runneth over.

Also, honestly, I could have used a lot less Nacho and a lot more Mike, especially considering Johnathan Banks is 70 years old and will probably be closer to 72 before the next season airs. It would be best to get while the gettings good there.

I'm fine with everything except Chuck. You've got Michael McKean and Odenkirk and you find a way to get not one laugh out of that relationship. That's unbelievable.
