am I the only one thoroughly enjoying season 2 of this? The Ehrmantrout(sp?) plot line is equally if not more enthralling imo

Can I propose a major plot hole? Please let me know if I am wrong.

Mike always needs to get money to help his daughter in law who is struggling at lower income jobs such as a cashier or a waitress.

If her husband was killed as Philadelphia police officer she would be getting 60K+ for the rest of her life and would not be in such a bind asking for help from Mike all the time.

Another big thing that bugs me about Better Call Saul...

...At some point Jimmy must do something to fuck Kim over, or fuck up to get Kim fucked up. Jimmy will destroy all that is good in his life. Kim will suffer for believing in Jimmy/Saul. This is how Jimmy became Saul, but it doesn't make him forgiven because the root evil is Jimmy.

Yeah, that's a good one. Was his son possibly off duty when he was killed? Do off duty police officers murdered not get those huge pensions for their family? I don't know the answers to those questions.

And I've thought about the Kim thing too. I figured Jimmy must get her killed somehow.

As far as the daughters in laws finances, I think that they addressed Mike's need to make more money to help in the episode where she wasn't feeling safe, and her wanting to buy the new house. He increased his criminal activity right after they looked at the new house.

IMO, I think Kim is just going to dump Jimmy because he can't help himself when it comes to doing the right thing. They have done too good of a job of making her "perfect" for Jimmy to fuck her over. Jimmy's persona is the ultimate angle shooter with a big heart. I think that her dumping him will be the last straw before his transition to "Saul"

Im not saying I think less of the show for it, its fantastic, but Chuck is basically kinda sorta ruining the show for me. Like "I dont need this grief", is how I feel when Chuck does or says aything.

The scenes with him are just so long and painful and repetitive. I understand they are building this up and telling a story but enough is efuckingnough.

I've been fast forwarding every chuck scene for weeks. I just assumed every sane person did the same.

    Um noo?
As much as id like to fast forward some parts, i dont. I dont want to miss anything for fear that way down the road im all of the sudden wondering whats going on.

I made the mistake of ff some parts in Breaking Bad, only to be scratching my head several episodes later, and i ultimately had to go back and actually watch them

How would Hector show up in Breaking Bad if Mike smoked him with the sniper rifle?

I thought when Chuck was searching through the garage it was for something to kill himself with; as usual TV writers are better at their job than I am.

Great season of a great show.

Great season of a great show.
Hector "Tio" Salamanca was severely handicapped in Breaking Bad, that could have easily been the result of a sniper rifle.

I feel like most of the scenes from the end of this season should have happened at the end of last season. The whole Kim to Chuck "you're an asshole" speach from two weeks ago should have been weaved into the conclusion to season 1.
