More or less what I said to the liberal wing of the family today. Protest if you wish no worries as far as I'm concerned. If he's doing as bad a job as you say he is he will be gone in 3 2/3 years. I did warn them that it's posible he gets through tax reform and a stimulus that could cause the economy to take a big leg up and that may propel him into a second term.

Bullshit!!! Osama Bin Laden clearly stated that the motivation for attacking the US was because we stayed in force in Saudi Arabia after the Persian Gulf War. We were repeatedly poking that "bear" by heavy-handedly meddling in the Middle East for decades, including acting as the de facto military power propping up the Saudi monarchy. The 9/11 attack was merely an example of "blowback" that noted former CIA analyst Chalmers Johnson predicted would visit our shores because of our governments policies and actions that the American public generally didn't understand as fomenting such responses. In fact, Johnson published a prescient book on the matter about a year or so before 9/11 occured.
