I think it's unbelievable that you are a professional gambler that is a known commodity in most card rooms and you can't "find a guy".

If you were not out of state I'd find you something. Collection is a big issue in the business right now so there are few people who want to deal with out of staters unless you post credit.

I don't know why you just don't say screw it and deposit with bitcoin on 5dimes taking the reduced juice for some of the best baseball lines in the industry.

If you never deposited on there before and use only bitcoin when making a deposit they don't even ask you to send in any documents or license and the payouts are rather quick.

It's better then nothing if your intention is betting mostly money lines you likely won't run into any issues.

Unfortunately all of my options keep seeming to be out of state, and therefore they don't want to touch me.

I am also surprised that I've had a hard time finding someone reliable through the CA/NV people I know.

all of your options are out of state? huh?

anyways, is it possible that you set up a computer / cellphone that you can teamview in to remotely to Mt.C? You brag about having the land line there, certainly it must be a lovely facility, as we all know about the witteles gold placard at the bottom of the pool. Set up multiple vegas book apps and a shitty android / chromebook with teamviewer. you can wager more, you can shop lines and most importantly you aren't gonna get snapped off clean.

    problem solved.

I wonder if it has anything to do with you being impossible to deal with? I live 8 miles outside of a city of 80,000 people in bumfuck Missouri. I have 3 local guys, a guy who has an online book out of Omaha, and know of and could easily bet through another guy in KC who also uses a sleek mobile app. You are balling out of control, impeccable credibility, and in Las Vegas or SoCal but you can't find a guy? :GTFO
It's hilarious that we as a society think everyone can be a dr, a lawyer, an engineer. Some people are just fucking stupid. Why can't we just accept that?

These guys are just using pay per head services that cost anywhere between $10-$15/week per player depending on whether they want live wagering or casino games. Finding a local is easy. Finding one that can pay, especially big wins is another story.

I tried hooking up Todd with my guy who runs a book for a large group of people in banks all over NY (He hired me as an intern and prior to me starting full time as an analyst he quit to run his book fulltime). Long story short, he was fine with todd and even checked this site out but when he googled his name he basically told me that "high profile poker players draw way to much attention and would have no issue giving you up if they get caught doing other shady shit. I'm sure he's a great guy, but not worth the risk".

It's easy for us nobody's but the higher profile you are in the public the more of a risk you are for these guys.

And that man's name was Lee Amaitis, Cantor Fitzgerald then Cantor Gaming. Legend & god.

Your boy sounds like Amaitis. Just with a smaller set of balls.

Amaitis drops out of high school to work at a horse track---> becomes CEO of Cantor Fitzgerald. This is back when traders were men.

Everything you want to know about sports wagering present and future comes from his lips. No one else.

He worked for a private investment bank back when traders were vulgar and had fire in their bellies. Their actions were controlled by men whose names and reputations as owners and partners mattered.

That doesn't exist anymore. Reputations don't matter. Next quarters profit does. Traders are fags and the business is run on incentives - no matter how stupid or shortsighted they may be. The public houses are the dumb money but people need jobs and the rest of us need fish.

You were too late handicap. I understand why he left. Just fucking with you - maybe.

Your jungle guide must be an interesting cat.

I have posted about the Cantor guy before. Here's something different. From 2011. His vision particularly "live betting" and props is very important. Gets better as it goes along. You're all fags though and don't really love the game - so maybe you should skip it.

The guy was an X rates swaption trader who killed it pre 07, but who's book lost a few milly during the crisis (I think -$16mm in 13 months). He was very well liked so they kept him on as the head of risk for a specific trading desk. Prior to me joining the bank he had already been running his "book" for close to 7yrs and was making more than what he was making allin on base when I joined (still less than the bonuses during the good times). When he left in '12 he gave up close to a $500k worth in deferred comp and was happy to do so. I see him every time we settle and yrly dinner/drinks and he still refuses to tell everyone how big his book really is, but it has only grown over time.

At this point many people who use his service won't know who he even is as he basically provides the bank on referrals now. He keeps some whales, myself (his baby intern that he is down a significant amount against) and my close friends. Everyone else I recommend to him he'll push to some guys who think the "bank" is run out of costa rica and don't even know he exists at this pt. By doing this he is basically guaranteeing these lower guys can never rat on him and only know "tony" in costa rica.

Amaitis in the podcast repeatedly talks about trading value. The guy (and your guy handicap) was just making a market. The spread exchange was just a new market.

Cantor and Amaitis saw huge opportunity in growing a market through the use of technology. Charge a toll on an ever growing pool.

His mind is absolutely pure with what his role was in financial markets and sports wagering.

    Podcast:
He made a great statement about the role of the physical sports book going forward.

Amaitis talked about seeing a trader in '95 playing online poker and immediately his wheels were spinning about getting into that business. Maybe apocryphal.

Amaitis talks about the size of the sports wagering handle relative to casino investment. Takes a swipe at the misguided big spending by casinos in other areas comparatively. This is the stupid big casino theorem I hold dear.

He addressed fantasy sports and trying to capitalize on that. His thought was props growth. He offered the idea of head to head player props as an example. This was huge to him and Daly would be pleased to hear.

High school drop out gets it in a way the math majors (quants) never truly can. Beautiful beautiful story. He was like the Steve Jobs of trading and gambling.

Look, you guys have your heros and I have mine.

What in the actual fuck. I checked out the line to come out in tomorrow nights GSW vs. Twolves game expecting to see 10. It opened at 6. I realize KD is gone but what else am I missing here. Is anyone in the world gonna bet the Twolves in this game besides me? This is two days away lets see if it moves. No line on it where I bet but its almost like you could bet GSW now and twolves at 9. But maybe not and maybe more people are seeing what I'm seeing.

    Celtics 99 - Warriors 86 in Oracle

Celts' Bradley actually played some pesky defense against Curry. Gotta ask yourself if Wolves just wanna run the floor with the Warriors or play defense.

Celtics are a second tier team of overachievers led by a young coach whose old school notion of defense hasn't been extinguished.

There were chants of MVP for Isaiah Thomas in Oracle.

I don't give a shit about any of it but there were elements that resparked my hate of the NBA.

Please dont bet on Rene Alvarado +1200, yes he has a 7 inch reach over gamboa, about 2 inches taller and 7 years younger. And yes gamboa has had like 300 unsanctioned amateur fights in cuba prior to defecting to america, and gamboa is past his prime, but i implore you not to splash a little on that all too tempting +1200 moneyline. Don't say i didn't warn you.
