I'd honestly feel far more comfortable if our intelligence agencies shared stuff with trusted European allies and simply left Trump at the kiddie table for the next 4 years. It's the only shot at our country emerging in 4 years with any semblance of a sane coalition of friends, and quite frankly, having elected Trump, we're not fit to be sitting at the grown ups table.

Flynn already set a precedent of undermining a sitting president with his treasonous direct contact with the Russians concerning impending sanctions. Our intelligence agencies should take his cue and circumvent the current administration. Won't happen often, as 4 years is a long time to avoid them sending you to Guantanamo, but I'll applaud those with the courage to do so.

I know for a fact that they sent up a flag early on to Israel saying "do not trust these guys" but I see no indication we have backed out of those partnerships. Including I expect our anti-terror dialog with Russia.

But as for the crown jewels, the current administration simply doesnt have a seat at that table, they arent in the distribution loop.

Chalk this is as a "whatever this is worth" post.

I made a connection with a family in my HOA a little over a week ago. The dad as it turns out is a 20 year veteran with palm beach sheriffs office and is on "permanent redeployment" with the us marshals office (dude is like 6 ft 10 and built well enough that he could break me in half). His job now that Trump won is to oversee his motorcade anytime he is in Palm Beach County.

He's been on this job or pseudo job for 1.5 years for all of the major candidates for president. Again "for what it's worth" according to him and the people he works with (who aledgely feel the same) Hillary and her whole entourage were a bunch of rude cunts. Sanders himself was an OK dude but they were always disorganized and nobody every knew WTF was going on. Jeb was a good dude and the people that worked for him were nice. Team Rubio were a bunch of assholes. Trump early on and now that he is President was the most "solid and down to earth guy" of the whole lot. Knows the guys on duty. Takes 10-15 seconds to say that you and ask how everything is. Actually took the time to ask him how he thinks everything is going and if any changes need to be made (even though it's not this guys place to say so). Sharp guy... knows to ask guys who are wearing rings how the wife and family is and asks dudes without it what they did for the weekend and if they had fun. "Down to earth" was the theme.
