I think sonatine is slowly realizing that the calvary isn't coming, there will be no impeachment, and Donald John Trump is his 45th President.

new industries will have to be created, people will be put back to work, and foreign competition/labor will have to be be shut out for a while

New industries are being created. One thing they all have in common is that they involve tons of computers and/or robots, and a small handful of highly educated people.

One of those is the autonomous vehicle industry. It's going to put millions of people out of work in the very near future. Instead of doing any preparation for this massive shift, Trump is telling the people who are about to get fucked that he's going to take care of them, and largely won their vote because of it.

And we were supposed to have flying cars by now, every disease was supposed to be cured, and Hillary Clinton was supposed to be the 45th President.

The autonomous industry is at the wright brothers phase, we will all be long gone before a robot wipes your geriatric ass, or sucks on your dirty old schmeckel.

There is absolutely no reason for everything we use in our daily lives, like phones, cars, etc, to be produced and manufactured in this country. Trump is going to roll back ridiculous regulations, lower taxes and give incentives that will benefit everyone, including the rich who benefit no matter who's in office, atleast with Trump, Every American citizen will benefit.
