Semi relevant personal story: I registered at my parents address to vote at age 18 as a Democrat and a few years later as a Republican. Eventually I noticed that my name was listed twice on the voter rolls! I even called the CA Secretary of State office to let them know, and nothing. The next time I voted, both were still there. I recently re-registered at my home address and would bet money my name is still listed on the voter rolls at my old address because I highly doubt they purged both. Also, when I re-registered I very clearly marked "Libertarian Party" but was registered as Decline to State. So much fail.

The fact is that most people in poor neighborhoods are law-abiding and just want to live in peace.

What's the plan for Chicago communities that aren't gated? You think dropping some force in for a bit, much like you ask your military to do will make it all go away?
