When he was talking about the bombs in the basement he was talking about when some other terrorists tried blowing up the WTC in 1993 by setting off a bomb inside of a van in the parking garage of the north tower. I don't care what side of the fence, it's fucking disgusting. It makes me wonder if we have reached an age where electors are now going to need security detail until they make their vote.
Personally I think the EC should stay - im not saying this because I voted Trump, im saying it because I completely understand why it is implemented.
What I feel does need a serious adjustment are the penalties:
1) There should be much stiffer penalties across the board for Electors going against what the voters have decided. To have thousands of people in an area cast their vote, only to have 1 person say..."well fuck you im not voting for that one" is just bad news imo.
2) There should be SERIOUS ramifications for anyone caught harassing and/or ESPECIALLY threatening an elector.
Someone shouldn't have to fear for their life just because they are given the task to cast a ballot.

If Jill Stein won and there was controversy about the vote count she would call be the first to call for a recount. it is hard to believe you completely understand why the EC was implemented. your first point completely destroys the intention of the system. you seemed to want it both ways. you want the voices of people heard but want to rely on a system where the majority is not
