let's take an extreme hypothetical situation. what if an adolf hitler clone was running for office against hillary and openly advocated for exterminating jews or something crazy. yep, that is an extreme crazy example, and i'm not at all saying trump is like that.

but in that example, would anyone truly argue that the media should be covering hillary and hitler the same way? the question then becomes, how horrific a candidate does one have to be before the media is "justified" in not covering that person "fairly."

i agree and think that the relationship between the clinton camp and the media, as exposed by assange, is scary. just saying that for the media, it's a fine line between "balanced" by reporting on both sides evenly and being idiotic, considering some of the things trump is saying. but yeah, i hope hillary is a one-term president.

Honestly, that reporters should still keep their personal politics out of it. Of course I'm not including columnists and commentators who are paid for their opinion. The problem is that you have journalists in every level of media inserting their personal politics in to things in an attempt to get things to go their preferred way. That's propaganda.

And In that situation I believe there is no way in hell a guy like Hitler could ever come to power in our system. And even if he did in a worst case scenario if he won an election he'd be impeached, blocked at all impasses and be out in four years or sooner.
