The problem is that most undecided voters tend to be very uninformed on matters of biases (and many other things in general), so productions like SNL can actually sway their opinions and perceptions.

This has been part of the uphill battle that the right has fought over the years. It's not just the biased media, but the entertainment bias. Every movie, TV show, and song you hear makes you feel like a fool for having right-leaning political opinions. This is why Rush Limbaugh was such a stunning success when he went national.

You know how much popular culture influences people. While Hollywood has no requirement for political fairness, you can't blame Republicans for feeling frustrated about it.

snl is brutal on republicans generally, but they are spot on here. if you don't recognize that trump is a way more hilarious target than hillary who deserves much more ridicule, we're just not seeing the same people

Of course Trump is an incredibly easy target. I'm not arguing against that, nor am I saying that they shouldn't skewer Trump. They are a comedy show, so they definitely should.

The problem is that Hillary is also a fairly easy target, but they stay away from any serious jabs which could alter public perception of her. She's not as outrageous or easily-lampooned as Trump, but her various scandals/character flaws/mistakes are also ripe for parody, yet SNL is terrified to touch any of them.

With Hillary, they basically stick to "cold/awkward/calculating", but never present her in a way to where a viewer would change their mind about voting for her.

Honestly, I'm only mildly annoyed by this, because I don't like Trump anyway, and it can't be said that he didn't have it coming.

However, I've long been frustrated with the media and entertainment world, feigning neutrality while clearly having an agenda to make anyone voting R feel guilty/stupid/selfish/closed minded.

Feels like my party is always fighting an uphill battle to win anything these days. I'd just like to see a fair fight.

Yeah that Embassy he's held up at is in the heart of London, England. Probably the most sovereign and respected country on earth.

Assange has 'dead man switch' on his twitter so if he doesnt log in for X minutes, it posts codes needed to decrypt some files. In this case, someone allegedly knocked out internet access for the embassy or something, so the codes got posted.

More likely, the embassy quietly stopped paying for internet access because they just want this fucking weirdo out of their hair.

Addendum: the codes are now being described as checksums of existing data (to verify integrity) but I have no idea what their value as a dead mans switch would be.
