if you've been watching trump lately, he is literally making zero effort to win over independents, and instead seems like he's just trying to lash out at the clintons and save himself the embarrassment of losing to her by saying the election (and all polls) are rigged.
this is all about the future Trump Media Network (with roger ailes and steve bannon running it), and/or possibly breaking up the republican party by starting a new third party.
