The problem is that Trump never envisioned running for President. Or if he did, it was never a serious aspiration.

So he lived his life like a spoiled rich guy, and basically realized between his money and fame, he could get away with a lot more than the average guy.

I think he actually got off on the power he had. That's why he bragged about it. He was proud of it.

Now he's running for President, and everything he ever did -- much of which was recorded in some way -- is under a microscope.

There's just an endless amount of material to use against him, and I'm sure it's no coincidence that this latest bombshell dropped 31 days before the election.

When he said that Clinton has said just as much offensive stuff about women, he's probably right, but the difference is that Clinton is a career politician and never let this stuff get recorded.

It's funny, because Bill Clinton and Donald Trump are actually quite similar in how they have treated women. Both were powerful and arrogant men who felt they could sexually harass women with no consequence, both have allegations of statutory rape dogging them, and both are likely guilty of much of which of they are accused. Clinton has just been better at not admitting anything about it on tape.

Also, Bill Clinton is not on the ballot. You overlooked that in this exercise of false equivalency.

In a way, he kind of is.

Bill Clinton was a former 2-term President, and in general the Clintons have operated as a pair. Look how much Hillary got involved during Bill's time in office, especially during his first term.

Also, with Hillary attempting to be the first female Presdient, and with much of her attacks against Trump revolving around his disrespectful treatment of women, it's hypocritical to hold Trump to the same standards of behavior as Hillary's former President husband.

If Hillary can't make the case that Bill treated women better than Donald did, she really has no right to use the misogyny/chauvinist card, especially given that she's stayed with him while this went on for decades.

I've said over and over that I don't support Trump and won't be voting for him.

Unfortunately, many liberals (and now you included, apparently) seem to believe that Trump equaling bad also must mean Hillary equals good.

Speaking of 6 months ago, many of these same liberals (you included?) saw all of Hillary's faults, and eloquently stated them. This was because Sanders was still in the race, and while his chances were slim, they were barely enough to allow liberals to have some clarity regarding what Hillary really was.

Not anymore.

It's amazing how I've watched the transformation occur. The same people bashing Hillary in early 2016 are now back on the "victim of right wing conspiracy" train. If you dare bring up a Clinton scandal, you get angry responses such as, "She was never convicted of anything", "The FBI said she didn't do anything wrong", "You don't have proof", "All politicians do things like that", or my personal favorite, "You're just a Trump sheep spreading false rumors."

There is a reason the Clintons have been followed by scandal for decades, and it's not simply the repeated slander by political enemies.

Where there's smoke, there's usually fire, and in this case we have smoke so thick and longstanding that it can be seen from Mars.

It's okay to admit that Hillary is a shifty piece of shit, but that you're begrudging voting for her anyway, because you think Trump is worse.
