Voting participation for blacks was 61.4% for Bush v Kerry in '04. It was more for Obama, but not some huge difference. It was 67.4% in '12. In '04, with two white guys, white participation and black participation were exactly equal among white and black youth voters. Black voter participation was higher than average for all Americans. Don't let their wishcasting influence you. What they should be worried about is that Hispanic and Latino eligible voter participation was under 50% in both '08 and '12. What do you think it will be this time around against the guy who wants to build wall?
