I hate the word Value when it comes to sports betting.. Especially on a day baseball game on a Friday in the middle of August with the team with no value has won 10 s8. Wainright games the only pick is the over. Hes good for giving up 5 and driving in 2. Thats value. No disrespect but where was the value on St. Louis today? Did u break into willies stash?

Going to sound like Monday morning quarterbacking but I didn't like this one. That is, I saw what you posted, didn't like it, and then looked (didn't know it had started), and saw 11-1.
I liked yesterday but, like you was afraid to do it. Unlike you, I didn't do it. Was close, but lost. What scared me was the fact that Martinez had been struggling recently.
Wainwright isn't very good, though. Very inconsistent. Arrieta hasn't been himself lately, but I would have wanted a better price than that against him and the hot Cubs in Chicago with Wainwright on the mound.
Well I am back already. When you take 8 year old boys to a game that is the most humid hot game I have been to you don't last long. The $ I won didn't even pay for the hot dogs and ice cream and soda I had to buy. Don't even ask about the tickets. Pretty much any sporting event costs so much money now I rarely go without free tickets.

To read your post the bet sounds funny. Yeah "value". Dog bets for "value" is stupid except in the abstract. I had written that ain't my style and then shot it off.

Two bets today after a hiatus, which I oddly took after going 2-0 last week.
Brewers (Nelson) -107 vs. Reds (Bailey)
You also might consider the over on this game, but it got to 9 -120 and I just don't like that value enough. Both pitchers have struggled lately. Nelson has the capability to throw zeroes though. Bailey... probably not.
Toronto (Liriano) -106 vs. Houston (Musgrove)
Books are all over the place with this one, ranging from -104 to -135! This isn't surprising, because it pits a formerly-respected veteran in Liriano, who has struggled big time this season but pitched well last outing, versus a rookie in Musgrove who has been great, but only through 11 career innings. Personally I think facing the Blue Jays in Toronto can easily be that "rookie wake up call" for Musgrove, and Liriano could very easily have another solid start. And even if Liriano sucks, the Toronto offense at home could bail him out. Too low of a favorite line for me to pass this up, even with Liriano's overall bad season.
