Cowboy steak for the Gf and I. Seared on the pan then broiled. Letting it sit right now going to make mac and cheese and broc. Will try to take a final pic.

Apologies for the foot, not going to waste time to edit it out.

I thought this was a good story. Two Street stall food vendors received a Michelin star in Singapore. One was Hill Street Tai Hwa Pork Noodle. No story or pics on Hill Street. The other was Hong Kong Soya Sauce Chicken Rice and Noodle.

Chan Hon Meng had thought the initial call from Michelin was a joke

Chan sells 180 chickens a day and serves Hong Kong -style soya sauce chicken noodles, regularly seeing queues of 100 people lining up to buy a portion of the meal.

The hawker feast, priced at just over £1 per portion, is now the cheapest Michelin-starred meal in the world.
He is selling 30 more chickens a day since receiving the award but says that is the maximum output.
Quite a few small write ups on it. If your in Singapore look it up.

Just a thought. I go by feel of the meat in most cooking situations. IE rare or medium. With something like a pork loin a good thermometer can really make a difference in getting it just right.

    Looks good Larry.

Fuck those damn steak pics are killing me. Been eating nothing but fish, broccoli, and fruit for the last two months. Really would love to have a good ribeye.

Went fridge-diving for an early breakfast. Chicken salad, bacon, and the last pinch from a bag of parmesan, baked into a crisp.

I've been watching too much Chopped and badly need a grill.
