I'm not going to keep posting about this, but if the majority of the community wants Slim to call in and debate this nonsense on radio Wednesday, that is fine with me. I have about 30 voicemails from him (some very insane). The only one I planned on playing was his messages tell me not to come to rio and drop off $140 after I told him i wanted to end my communications with him.
I will be donating the $140 to some contest or free roll to be "done rid" of all this.
Couple of quick points.
I went to 3 gas stations to get the dip he wanted because (I forget the brand) but no store had 15 in stock. After 3 gas stations and only being able to get 13, I decided that would have to do.
I am still confused how he claims I stole from him and even more so the community.
I never promised to find someone to book a 5k bet at 100-1. I only said I would try to find someone who would be trustworthy and had the funds if by some miracle he won.
I clearly told him I am not in the pharmaceutical business, and in hindsight I should have told him there was zero possibility of me getting him meds, but seriously, he did not look well. Bad judgement of my part.
I never hugged him 1 time more or less 3 times. China and Stamos were there from the beginning to the end of my interaction with him.
He did offer almost everyday to take me out to dinner at some fancy restaurant and I explained repeatedly I had a lot going on. It was never like I stood him up after agreeing to meet at a specific time and place.
If I was trying to "cheat him" as he claimed, I would have let him buy me an insane expensive meal, taken 5k from him and just booked it myself knowing the chances of him winning were insane and also knowing I couldn't pay it if he won. The fact that he admitted that he kept trying to "throw money" at me to hang out with him and do errands (under the pretense that he was too ill to do them himself) speaks volumes.
Lesson learned. I have enjoyed meeting people that often come to Vegas from the different forums over the years but this has made me realize those days are over.
Yesterday sucked, busted around 120-130 in the 1k mega to the main. 985+ entrants, paid 92 spots. May play the 1k turbo tomorrow morning.
Heading to the Cosmo now to chill at the pool.
