Hillary's on that pre-Iraq invasion CIA based global influence sneak tip where she basically cajoles Egypt/SA/Turkey/Iran etc into doing her dirt in exchange for advanced arms and a reduction in domestic renewable energy subsidies.

The press does a pretty poor job with a candidates as their motives and interests are complex and self serving. However, taking down those in office is a non partisan career touchdown.

Republicans have an identity crisis. The party was first semi-hijacked by the religious right, and now there's a second hijacking by the Trump isolationists. They will need to solve this identity crisis before winning the White House again.

Of course, the Democrats have their own identity crisis, where the once-loyal leftist faction learned that they've been supporting a party which both rigs elections (lol superdelegates) and is in bed with corporate America just as much as the Republicans. So they kinda feel duped, and that's part of the reason Bernie Sanders still remains so influential. So lots of left wing Dems are waking up and realizing that they've been used and lied to for all these years, and they're pissed off.

Bottom line is that I wouldn't be surprised if both parties experience some major reform pains very soon.

Make that 1992. Which is when George H. W. Bush, whom I voted for 4 years earlier, caved to the religious right and came out hard -- for THE first time in his very long-by-then political career -- against abortion rights.
