Does Brock have to sign on with the UFC wait six months while he's under USADA's random testing b4 he can fight>?
Meant to post a couple days ago when the news about Brock got out.. My guess was it would be Hunt or Nelson he would face because they'd want somebody who was a stand up beast for Lesnar.. Honestly Lesnar's been out of the game so long his only hope to win probably would be somebody who is willing to go toe to toe with him throwing down vs a more technical match involving BJJ. Because aint noway he's gonna be able to send people to suplex city in a match that aint predetermined..
The entire USADA/UFC ruleset is online, you can always look this shit up. The obvious answer is of course not, because the USADA works for the UFC, and the UFC can pretty much do as they wish. The cliffs are that it is 4 months, not 6, and the UFC can waive the rule when it feels it is unfair to the athlete, which means they really don't need any reason at all, they can just decide it is unfair in this one case so fuck it.
5.7 FORMER UFC ATHLETES RETURNING TO UFC COMPETITION
5.7.1 An Athlete who gives notice of retirement to UFC, or hasotherwise ceased to have a contractual relationship with UFC,may not resume competing in UFC Bouts until he/she has givenUFC written notice of his/her intent to resume competing andhas made him/herself available for Testing for a period of fourmonths before returning to competition. UFC may grant anexemption to the four-month written notice rule in exceptionalcircumstances or where the strict application of that rule wouldbe manifestly unfair to an Athlete.
Brock Lesnar +160
Mark Hunt -195
yeahhhhh thats giving a lot of credit to someone who hasnt fought since 2011 and has panic attacks when someone hits his face.

LOL and UFC just dropped that they lifted the ban on Helwani, after Dana said a few hours ago over his dead body basically. Trying to bury it under the Kimbo news.
They were getting absolutely destroyed by literally 100% of people so obviously they had no choice.
today's mma hour is worth a listen, Ariel basically tells the story of the last 5 years and his UFC problems. The craziest story is the one he won't talk about right now, which is when dana's security assaulted and choked Ariel for asking Chuck Liddell questions at an event about 25 ppvs ago. It had been hinted at long ago, and people like frontrowbrian talked about it, but Ariel essentially confirmed it today, though not in those words.
In general, tho, Lorenzo hates Ariel and has no respect for any reporters, especially those who he feels fuck with his business, and has the power to do something about it. That's the entirety of it in a single sentence. Dana is merely the guy who does the dirty work, I don't think he takes any of it personally long term.
Couple years ago, Dave Meltzer told a great story about Dana and his outlook in general. After Dave wrote something or other, Dana called/texted him and told Dave that he was going to publicly rip on him later that day, and wanted to give him a heads up, or something like that. Dave thanked him, later that day Dana went off on Dave at a press conference, and their relationship continued on as if nothing ever happened. I'll see if I can dig that up, it was a pretty funny story about how the UFC handles shit in general.
edit: The Meltzer thing was about an article Dave wrote on shitty UFC on Fox ratings.

Here's all I want to say.
Dana called me and told me what he was going to do ahead of time saying he didn't want to blindside me. He was pissed at the article in last week's Observer and if he's pissed he doesn't hold it in. And I've got no issue with that or with him. I wish he hadn't brought up the Yahoo thing just because it brings sympathy to me that I don't want and that it probably does him no benefit to the outside world to be doing. It appears he's kicking a guy when he's down and I'm not down, so it didn't bother me, but to the outside world, I don't know how it comes across.
Rather than rallying around me or saying Dana's hurting into Eric or Vince, just read the article. If you think I wasn't fair and presenting both sides of the story, then he's right to be mad. If you think I was fair, then that's cool. Any discussions should be about the points in the article because if anyone thinks I'm mad at him, well, that's the furthest thing from the case.
As far as I'm concerned, I thought the article was fair. He didn't. We've disagreed before and agree far more than we disagree when it comes to the product."

I have been watching ticket prices and my friend thinks that UFC needed to add another big name since no one was spending 915-1300 dollars on a ticket for this event.
Him and I pulled the trigger over the weekend and spent 900ish for seats.
I will take Brock all day at +200 for UFC 200.
Remember this is now the WWE not the UFC. All about the Benji's
yeah at this point, most people use the kimura to transition to full mount or get the back.
whats funny is... the fight before fedor looked like shit against arlovski, hunt almost kimura'd him in pride. and fedor was always like 'no no he was not close' but a lot of people felt that with another couple of minutes on the clock, hunt could have nailed it.

Brock losing to Hunt by kimura? You nuts? I mean, the kimura was Brock's go-to finisher in the WWE for like a year! Dude's a kimura master.
