she's a real peach...
Im trying to figure out why Trump would do this debate with Bernie. Trump would essentially be putting himself in a position where he doesnt have much to gain (Debate someone who isnt going to be running against him in the end, and could easily hurt you), unless you discuss how Hillary screwed over Bernie and didnt give him the debate they both negotiated and he conceded to her demands, in exchange for that 3rd debate.
Trump would have to defend himself against Bernie, and by doing so, may piss off Bernie supporters, whom Trump needs to win over. You are walking a delicate line here. Bernie could decide to go nuclear on Trump, and Trump would have to return fire.
UNLESS...
what about the bizarre chance that Biden and Warren announce by then, Hillary is in trouble, and Bernie and Trump secretly decide to have a very rational, well planned debate about what is wrong with both sides and how they could possibly even work slightly together? I think they both do have some similar views. Would a slight "partnership" get Trump the Bernie supporters he needs, but pisses off the Conservatives backing Trump? Would Trump care?
Or....
Trump could just be tossing out the idea of the Debate, knowing no one is going to pony up 10mil to hold it in the first place. It looks good on his end, like he wanted to do it....but.....
oh....Biden is giving a speech today in Rhode Island. Lots of press.
I wonder (he states sarcastically) if someone will ask him about the current political situation with the democrats, and if he is contemplating running?...
The play for Trump is to court the disaffected Bern victims. I mean if I were to be the one making the play, I would outline that even though we have different ways of solving problems, inherently they both agree on the things that need to be addressed as the problems. The other part being that they are both 'outsiders' and that everyone is in agreement (within those walls) that an establishment candidate isn't going to do fuckall for anyone but themselves. Throw in random mutterings of Fauxcahantas and Crazy Hillary and BAM, converted Bernie votes.
This morning I had what alcoholics refer to as a moment of clarity. Despite the overwhelming amount of evidence the odds of Hillary getting indicted are less than 1%.
If Hillary gets indicted there's zero chance the Republicans will win the presidency and a "socialist" will be in power making policy etc..
If Hillary get's indicted it could destroy the future of the Republican party.
Comey's a Republican and I'm sure there's a shitload of GOP big wigs begging him not to indict Hillary.
Even if Comey's somewhat non partisan he's not going to trade the white house, scotus and maybe even the GOP's survival for a weak Hillary indictment.
For some reason I just assumed the GOP would welcome a Hillary indictment. Nothing could be further from the truth.
No way she'll get indicted, NO WAY.
Question is moot. Doesn't matter what the Republicans want or don't want because they have no control or power over the issue. 0.0.
Now as to an indictment over the email server and the classified emails that were breached by Guccifer; it's not that she won't be indicted because she's not guilty, because if Petraeus is guilty, she sure as fuck is guilty. What is being 'leaked', 'floated', or 'tested' is that Hillary broke the "RULES" of maintaining a server and not necessarily breaking the "LAW" - which is of course, whatever they feel like calling it because they write the laws and have always felt that they are not subject to them.
Now the fun part is here is that the DOJ is FORCED to move on Hillary's case before the election because if she does not win the election and no judgement has been handed down beforehand, she will be tried by a Donald J. Trump appointed DOJ and Hillary will most likely go tits up while still behind bars.
Remember what happened to Charlie Rangel? The Democrat controlled Senate punished him before the Republicans swept in during the mid-terms. That was to spare Charlie 3 hots and a cot for the rest of his natural life at the hands of a Republican controlled Senate Committee. Instead he got the Queen Cersei treatment and stood naked before Congress and was told 'shame' repeatedly for like an hour straight.

Even though I missed this news yesterday...
Trump now backing out of the debate with Bernie. He isnt doing the greatest job of running away. Should have been handled better. He probably lost some bernie supporters on that move.
Trump would of got his clock cleaned.
Trump challenging Bernie to a debate was almost as lol as 4dragons "Liberals can't win a debate" thread. ALL the facts are on our side, WE WANT THE DEBATE. The compulsive liars run from debate, put a slogan on a ballcap and call it good. Lets enact the fairness doctrine, that's what I thought.
Nailed it
Edit: The left welcomes any debate except maybe black and black on white crime. They cover that shit up big time. Not me personally you know what i mean.
