My first contribution to this epic thread is today's brunch:

We had the pork chops out for last night's supper but did something else & had to cook them because we are also going out tonight.

Chops lightly spiced with seasoned salt & freshly ground pepper. Home-made hashbrown potatoes fried up with onion & mushrooms seasoned with a special garlic & salt combo I get from work. Eggs sunny-side up seasoned with salt & pepper & with soft yolks perfect for dunking toast or the hashbrowns.

Picture of the coffee & Bailey's to wash it all down was unavailable at press time.

You have a very good eye. I bought all the ingredients from WalMart and that WalMart has a Subway in it. Subway bakes the bread rolls that WalMart sells in the bakery dept. So it is on a Subway bun, but it is much larger than a normal subway footlong. This thing hung off the edges of a dinner plate when cut in half.

    Recipe

    1lb krabmeat
    Iceberg Lettuce
    Cherry tomato's
    American white cheese slices
    Polish dill pickles, chopped
    Celery
    Mayo
    Yellow mustard
    Old Bay
    Salt and cracked black pepper
    Parsley
    Sub bun

Look how super affordable this is:

Yup, I got the bread on the day old cart for 50 cents.

Dude have you heard of the term herd immunity. If most people are protected from a virus it will logically not spread as easily which protects those who cant receive immunity for various reasons.

When you shop at Walmart, akin to a Spanish landing in foerign lands where you witness dying natives everywhere for no apparent reason, you still search out a quick cheapy.

Yeah but when the Europeans landed in the Americas, the virus's we brought killed the natives, not so much the other way around. Or would you just rather have us send Canada all of our excess Mexicans?

Maybe leave Todd out of this? Then again, maybe not, because it does involve a sub sandwich.

Been making a lot of steak & cheeses for myself lately, fingered I'd share. Shaved steak, yellow pepper, onion, piece of baguette. Not shown, sunflower oil and a slice of american cheese. Not cheese product. Also, cool ranch doritos.

did this the other day. first time, and can easily improve things for next time. crock pot pulled pork.

Got me an 8.5 pork shoulder. Cut it in halfish, used the bigger chunk with the bone still in it.

    Name: pork1.png
Views: 537
Size: 1.76 MB

rubbed it all up with this shit. never used or even heard of it before, but needed a rub, and went with this one.

    Name: pork2.png
Views: 485
Size: 654.5 KB

put some liquid smoke and water into a little bowl thingie because Chef John did it in his Food Wishes Pulled Pork video.

    Name: pork3.png
Views: 516
Size: 1.06 MB

Put it on low, it took like 8.5 hours. everything was completely detached from the bone, falling apart nicely. did some pulling and chopping, added a small amount of I think Stubbs bbq sauce.

    Name: pork4.png

Here is some stuffed into some hollowed out crusty ass bread.

    Name: pork5.png
Views: 536
Size: 1.25 MB

turned out pretty good, but I know I can easily find a better rub if only I planned this out beforehand. the bbq sauce cures that ailment, tho.

Bread in a can, as mentioned in radio chat. Haven't seen this for like a decade, maybe longer. Used to eat this stuff all the time as a kid. More of a Massachusetts thing I guess, but if you can find one of these bad boys, grab it up, bake it so it's warm and soak it in butter.
