    Another huge win for Rubio.

I fell into the trap of conventional thinking, not fully appreciating the zeitgeist of the public just like the traditional pollsters & pundits.

The shit Trump was saying the week of two leading up to Iowa. It made Druff's bet look poor given Trump's attempts to self destruct. Occasionally we all think he really doesn't want to win his actions are so incredible.

    Torture is good
    The Pope is disgraceful
    Boycott Apple

Then you remember this from back in Iowa:
"I could stand in the middle of Fifth Avenue and shoot somebody and I wouldn’t lose any voters,” Trump said.
He believes this but even more incredibly he actually said this. Pure gold.

It matters not a wit what he says or does. He ain't them. He knows this and this has been his only strategy sprinkled with brilliant marketing.

Of course, not being backed by the usual PAC money and - a huge plus in my mind - should have hurt him. I mean, you know the rules. Trump has figured out how to get free press. Brilliant.

As a true anti establishment type who hates the political process more than life itself I see this is all just a referendum on conventional politics. The disaffected middle class apparantly has come around to my way of thinking.

The notion that the other GOP candidates dropping out will translate into more Rubio votes just doesn't truck with the reality. Rubio is the usual mealy mouthed political operative wannabe.

Sander's dropping out might mean more Trump votes.

Plus, Rubio is the only guy with worse hair than Trump.

The notion that Rubio is the only candidate that can beat Hillary is tiresome.

Trump will fearlessly launch missiles at Clinton. Please, if there is a god, let's get Trump to the general election where he brings up not the lame server issue but the true gold - the Vince Foster murder. It's coming.

Trump will destroy her. It will be better than anything HBO or Showtime will try to throw up by way of counter programming.

The only people who believe/say this are the ones to whom Trump represents an existential threat.

Rubio would lose to Hills and it wouldnt be at all close.

Trump will unite the unwashed masses (kept intentionally unwashed by the same people he's retiring from political relevance btw). Plus he's almost reasonable about PP/abortion so Hills cant count on the uterus vote.

Rubio is nothing but another Romney but with less experience and charisma.

Trump down to -225 and I am sure that number is on a rocketship to -1000 real soon.

Got a max bet in this morning.

There was some Chinese finance minister the other day who said they don't comment on individual Presidential candidates, but the US and China have a long standing good trade relationship. He was referring to Trump talking about punishing China for devaluing their currency and hitting them with tariffs. Headlines were China Fears Trump.

Responding to Trump this way is dumb and only legitimizes him in the eyes of his supporters.

The other telling part of it is that China thinks that Trump has a very good chance of being the next President, otherwise they wouldn't have even cared wtf this guy is saying.

Kasich refuses to attack any candidates. Pretty obvious he is angling for vice president. He's almost a given for VP candidate for Trump in my eyes. Probably a good pick since they would probably take Ohio, which they need.

Rubio came to fight but it might be too little too late.

Dude was openly mocking Trump and it was freaking hilarious.

Agreed. Rubio finally really went at Trump, and it was embarrassing for Trump.

There is no higher comedy than Cruz trying to get snippy with an adult human male.

Rubio is landing death blows on Trump but unfortunately for literally everyone, Trump and his constituents are too fucking stupid to notice.
