Earlier today, law enforcement officers was dispatched to a call of an older, disheveled, apparently homeless, suspicious subject who was sitting in a restaurant without having ordered any food. The first deputy responding to the call reportedly approached the subject, and in an attempt to treat him with humanizing kindness and compassion, sat down next to him and asked the man how his day was going. The man responded by putting a gun to the deputy's temple and pulling the trigger. He then proceeded outside, where he killed another responding deputy sheriff.

For those of you who have not worn a badge, please remember this case. The next time you interact with a police officer (or Sheriff's deputy), the next time you witness someone else interacting with the cops, before you criticize the officer for not being as friendly as you think they should be, before you judge his or her demeanor as being cold, condescending, or excessively cautious, before you accuse them of overreacting or countering resistance or force with brutality, please remember this case. Because there's a good chance that officer does. There's a good chance they knew, remember, or heard about the deputy who was murdered in cold blood for simply being polite.

People/Media keep perpetrating the narrative that Cops are evil, and its going to negatively affect the lives of everyone here in the US. There are gangs, BLM groups and others who actually want to just go out and kill cops. Its a massively fucked up situation right now.


I dont see Obama saying a fucking thing about it, either. Its unreal. He wont speak out at all. Bullshit! Most cops are well-meaning. The problems, though, are two-fold: (1) The training wrongly conditions them to draw and fire when not necessary;

You really need to spend some time with someone like a city cop, who can educate you on what these cops deal with. In Chicago, things have gotten incredibly bad. Blacks are actually approaching the cops and getting right in their faces and trying to instigate problems, because they know the cops cant do anything. The cops dont want to have to write something up, and the thugs can file complaints against them and/or sue them. The black gangs are empowered right now. Gunshots all over the city at all times. Drive by shootings are now popular. Cops dont pull over suspicious cars anymore.

Those contact cards (now called ISRs, and are two-pages long) that they used to do?....Year over Year, they are down 96%. New York, after they instilled the exact same bullshit, was down 99%. Cops are responding to calls and staying away from everyone. Dems/Liberals, ACLU, BLM...they are all getting exactly what they wanted. Everyone has caved in. The higher ups at CPD are trying to get the cops to make more stops, and are behind the scenes, making threats, but no cops want to risk their jobs, and essentially do nothing. If you are a criminal, you are in hog heaven right now. Its not a matter of learning better technique. They know the technique. If you think you police a town full of girl scouts the same way you police a town full of Roid-raging MMA fighters, your techniques wont do shit. They actually had a protest yesterday where they marched in -12 degree weather to protest the violence.

The innocent people around here are fucking scared. Tax Payers continue to see things rise in taxes and fees. The people in the shitty areas dont pay taxes anyway, so they dont care about that. Taxpayers are going to move out to the suburbs and downtown is already starting to look a bit tarnished in some areas. Its going to be Detroit in a few years. I know I sound crazy, but this is serious shit here, that could affect other big cities. You can check stats to see for yourselves. Another 3 shootings and 3 more homicides so far today. Go on Broadcastify (free app) and notice what their most popular stream is...its the CPD. You can listen to the horseshit the dispatchers are sending cops into.

Rahm is trying to find a way to build an "Express Train" from downtown to Ohare. Right now, its a 45 min train ride. He wants to get that to 20 min. Charge riders maybe 30 bucks. It would cost maybe a billion to figure that out. City finances are already shitty...but he's probably trying to find a way to push this through so companies who helped him can make some money. Shady as fuck. This shouldnt be a priority.
