Case in point is how hedge fund managers making billions only pay the dividend income federal tax rate on "carried interest", yet upper middle class workers at ordinary jobs pay almost twice that rate on marginal income at the top rate. So many middle and upper middle class Republican voters have been fooled by the political shills for the super rich for decades and have no fucking clue.
