Obviously beating a dead horse here, but if anyone wants to read about some carnage, Chicago had a bloodbath last night, and surpassed some 15/20 year homicide levels for the month of January. There were 7 homicides, with one during a shootout with police where the cop got him, and another shootout with police on the north side.

The cop who shot the guy in the shootout is, due to new rules as of the other day, being investigated internally as if HE were the felon. He likely had to now lawyer up immediately due to new investigatory rules. I have no clue how they can do their job everyday. http://www.chicagotribune.com/news/local/breaking/
