I didn't ask what the record was on "these type of bets", I asked what your record is. Being able to identify the correct spot and firing is obviously important. You don't have the requisite open impartial mind to see good vs bad spots. Blindly firing on a team who just scored 22 points in a half, vs ANYONE, is hilarious. Your bookies must fucking love you

Maybe his bets are more about having something fun to do with the possibility of winning. You really think he is putting large sums of money to the point this would make any difference whatsoever with his financial state? This is Druff we are talking about here not some degen poker player like Phil Ivey. Who gives a fuck.

    It was not "blindly firing".

Do you not understand that the line of -6.5 at the half was set by people who know WAY more about sportsbetting than you?

For you to laugh at this bet -- when the line was set by bookmakers to approximate as close as possible to a 50-50 chance of winning -- just shows how clueless you are about how sportsbetting works.

Furthermore, as I keep saying, the bet was WINNING 91 seconds before the end of the game. So it also proved results-wise to be close. Only a moron would say, "OMG they only scored 22 points in the first half", and assume that somehow that alone makes it a horrible bet, ignoring line, opponent, situation, etc.

Since you were so certain of the outcome, you bet on the Lakers at the half, right?

By this logic, you should never feel strongly about a bet right? I mean smarter people than you set the line.

So the most likely sports betting outcome is 50/50, which ironically is your NBA record over a fairly large sample size. Then you lose to juice, which you know all to well. So why bet at all Druff? It's because you think you've found some edge where a game wins 60% of the time. Or maybe that's just variance, because people smarter than you work hard to get to the 50/50 point.

So which is it Druff? Are you allowed to feel strongly about a game, or is it all just a coin flip?
It's hilarious that we as a society think everyone can be a dr, a lawyer, an engineer. Some people are just fucking stupid. Why can't we just accept that?

You need to win 52.38% of games to break even against -110 juice.

If you thought this bet had less than 47.62% chance of winning, you should have bet the other side.

And from your rhetoric here, you thought this was an awful bet, meaning it should have had a much lesser chance than 47.62% to win, in your eyes.

    Yet you didn't bet it.

    Why?

Either you're broke, or you are just trolling this after-the-fact.

    I'm guessing both.

Lol, now Druff is mad. Go look at the time stamp of my posts, and if you can my red rep to the original post. Saying im second guessing after the fact is hilarious because I second guessed it almost immediately and continually. And lol @ being broke because I didn't bet it. Everyone who saw the bet and didn't like it but didn't bet it must be broke right? Lmfao, tight logic

I research my bets objectively. Giving myself a few minutes to see a line and fire isn't my style. That's what they want you to do with live bets and half bets, shoot from the hip. How's that going for you?

I don't hate the Pats. I'm a Giants fan...lol. Before they lost to Denver i was winning every teaser i picked since week 2. This week i like to tease them and panthers
Coughlin not coming back. Teams pursuing permission to talk with Pats offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels (you know, the guy who picks up Tom Brady's dry cleaning & walks his dog).

Good luck with that. Coughin was the second best coach in NFL. Maybe old and burned out but a step backward is coming.

Trolling Druff over his NBA halftime bets is an enjoyable pastime but I actually agree with him here. That was a good bet. I would have bet it with my own money if I was paying attention to such things at such time.

more to goaltending than that. ball is above the rim level and has already hit the backboard, and still has a shot to go in. Can't touch it.

If it's interference there then you have to call it on like 60% of putbacks.

balls' also resting on the rim, which is about as egregious as goaltending would get if you touched it. And yes, the flange is considered the rim. about as goaltending as goaltending gets. if the ball don't move anymore, its a jump ball.
