is this the first time you guys have watched a belt fight?

point fighting is risky. if you point fight to a 2-1 or even 4-1 advantage but get knocked on your ass a few times, you pretty much lose.

I'm not really sure why you continue to emphasize point fighting or need to play the "I know more about MMA than you guys card".

because there is soooooo much dumb shit being said.

i 'gave the fight to carlos' too but i understand why he lost. that puts me soundly in the minority here.

but if sitting here repeating the same tired shit to each other like aspie parrots is going to somehow cathartically take the pain away, dont let me interfere.

He says "I knew this was a do or die moment in my career" but when he had Robbie beaten down to like 20% on the fence, he just pitter patters to clinch up the round while staying out of trouble.

I took a pot cookie before trip and i was so fucking high I caught 5 in a matter of 2.5 hrs on a half day trip. All keepers. My forearms and shoulders were killing me. They kept taking line out which was a bitch. Best haul since I was 11. I kept staring into the water repeating motions and they just came to me.

I had to take opportunity to keep it healthy. I tried a tomato heirloom scampi but I realized that its not my type of dish. Something about the way cooked tomatoes taste. I settled with oldbay and gibson's seasoning and in the oven.

Each filet makes 6-7 portions so each fish gives you 12 ish portions, which is worth the cost of the trip as it is.

barring injury, McGregor's camp has always said they want March AND July. Which is the way he wants it. Well, he gets it.

There was an article out earlier where Dana said McGregor could hold 2 belts if he fought 4x per year and defended both. So once every 3 months is what would be expected. March to July is even longer than that

even on its face that's unreasonable, tho. no body could hold up to that. hell, they could barely get cain to fight once every 2 years. Plenty of years go by where a belt only gets defended once, and more than we'd like where a belt gets defended zero times in a year.


but its silly that we're even using Dana as a guide on this. he merely says what's most advantageous to the UFC in the moment. It has no bearing on what they actually think or do. If we haven't learned that by now, we truly are marks. And we might be anyway, but y'knowmsayin...
