Well, "guy", I am trying to ascertain whether you are a dupe or you are a new poster. If you are a new poster, it would be odd for someone who has only been here a short time to pipe in and give his opinion on things, when you havent had enough of a sample size in terms of time to properly or effectively give your opinion on something, for doing so without a sufficient amount of knowledge only causes people to question your judgement and intelligence.
So if you are going to step into this cesspool, "GUNS A BLAZIN", people are going to wreck you for those viewpoints, when maybe you shouldnt comment on them.

Im sure that there are ways to look into stats like this, but what always concerns me is that this stat seems to show the amount of people killed, but what it doesnt indicate is the amount of people that were arrested in the process of trying to kill more, because the govt may have stopped them, and we will never know. Maybe they arrested 1200 people with plans to kill others, but that info doesnt get released?
you must be thinking about some other government. ours kills for publicity like that. hell, the fbi creates schemes, finds idiots to agree to run the schemes, then arrests the idiots and announces victory all over the place. we entrap just so we can announce victories.
no, I dont think they are going to reveal every plot they find. They probably dont want to reveal how they catch them.
some PR is good, but I really dont see them giving away all that info.
