So far this fight is WAY better then I thought it would be.

shout out to gus's right knee
A judge giving that fight to Gus is at best, alarming.

Wow, epic face turn by DC in his post fight. I expected a heel promo. Didn't see that coming, amrite GambleBotSatire?
Imagine if DC lost a SD instead of winning it because he wanted to prove he could 'stand with the best'.

apparently jones training regiment now consists of him posting videos of himself shirtless and coked up, wandering around his own kitchen.

one odd thing last nite was how much Joe Rogan talked about EPO during the Bagautinov fight. they NEVER talk about steroid failures, but I guess EPO failures are fine to talk about?
also seriously i need the ronda rousey hype train to end. shes an olympic bronze medalist and the best fighter in a notoriously shitty weight division in a sport she only learned 4 years ago. but somehow the ufc hype juggernaught has convinced the reggaymer's of the world to vote her 'best female athlete' on espn's latest poll.

First of three articles on the UFC and its finances, from the highly underrated John Nash (@heynottheface on twitter) at BloodyElbow. Here's the tl;dr:
"According to , the company had paid "more than $250 million" to the fighters during that timeframe, a total that he claims would be "not far off what the other sports leagues pay as a percentage of revenue." With an estimated $1.839 billion in revenue generated from 2005-2011, $250 million in fighter wages would represent 13.6% of all revenue. If the amount paid out to the fighters was $300 million than the fighters' share of revenue would rise to 16.3%."
