I literally was just scrolling down to hit the reply button and say this exact same thing.
Have you ever been around guns Druff? Have you ever hunted? Now Ive never shot a human being but Ive shot a shit ton of animals. I can tell you that they all react in various different manners. Sometimes you shoot them and you arent sure you hit them because it didnt seem to faze them. Sometimes you shoot them and they run MILES with blood and guts hanging out. Also the pain from close contact bullet wounds often isnt felt immediately, but only apparent after a few seconds. This is why the black kid from St Louis continued to charge the cop after being hit twice, only going down when he took one in the dome.
It's hilarious that we as a society think everyone can be a dr, a lawyer, an engineer. Some people are just fucking stupid. Why can't we just accept that?
My takeaway from this is that there is a lot of fucking going on between employees at tv stations; The cameraman was fucking the producer and the lady tv anchor had just moved in with another news anchor. Most work places don't condone this kind of activity.
I just re-watched the gopro video, slow motion and frame by frame. Druff paints it like the lady went for a 200m run. She literally took 3 quick burst strides and clearly was falling down on her left side in under 2 seconds after the shots ring out. Her body also noticeably is hit with shots 2 and 3. At that range shot one easily could have went directly through her and there would not have been a noticeable instant blood spatter or anything.
The sickest part of the video is the fact that there is a 2 to 2.5 second pause, then 4 more shots, then a short pause, then 1 final shot. He clearly dropped everyone, then stood over the cameraman and finished him. The lone shot very well may have been the 3rd lady who took one in the back.

10 seconds in and the first shot is fired, yet the cameraman goes to ground at this point - even though it was seen in the POV video that he doesn't shoot the cameraman.
So I'm supposed to believe that a woman can take three shots from a pistol at point blank range, but still run away showing no signs of being hit, while the cameraman takes no shots but falls straight to the ground.
Nuff said.
Oh you think he fell to the ground because he dropped his camera? Thats cute.
Obviously you are just a troll who's schtick is to act like everything is a conspiracy, so Im not sure why Im responding to your ignorant ass. But nonetheless, would you care to enlighten me, a guy who has been following this all day and watched all available videos multiple times, why it is you are so convinced the cameraman fell to the ground BEFORE being shot? Can you back that up with facts at all? You do realize the natural reaction for a guy facing away from a shooting, holding a camera, would be to spin and drop the camera right?
Im not even saying its impossible he dove to the ground, which I also think might be a natural response. But the fact of the matter is you simply cant back that up.

Druff, rarely does one shot disable someone in a street shooting...usually death is caused by bleeding out, and that can take up to a couple of minutes...a hit to the the heart, spine or brain if squarely on target will cause an instant drop, that is a small target area...most people going down after a single hit are not determined to continue fighting or resisting....most fatal shots allow a person to live for a couple of minutes...the shooter shot with one hand reaching around the cameraman who he appears to have used to hide behind--so aim does not look good and probably he did not use the sights on the pistol, and it appears he did not have a laser on the pistol...so the first shots may have missed, and the shot that was ultimately fatal likely was not immediately disabling, we won't know until the coroner releases his report
Also, the bullet used (caliber, weight and type fmj or hollow point) have a lot to due with how much energy is put into a the target and how much the victim feels/reacts...full metal jacket bullets will pass through the victim, and the target may feel little impact...a hollow point will mushroom out upon contact and the victim will feel much more impact...a lighter caliber such as .380 mm or 9mm will not hit as hard, while the heavier calibers .45 or .44 would have more impact punch)

lolllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll at you morons going for conspiracy theories is this what retards who watch youtube videos all day do
There was just the reporter, cameraman and the person being interviewed...no security present it appears
all 3 were concentrating on the interview and no one was looking out for trouble, there was little reason to expect any at 6:45 in the morning at an empty amusement park.
a very large part of self-defense with/without weapons is being alert to danger and having developed skills to respond in fractions of a second...every instant counts in a dangerous situation--and here the victims were caught totally unaware

this doesn't bring me peace of mind...sir, i see any humor in those words and i don't like your choosing to say that...and i liked Selena too
to me, this terrible incident shows how vulnerable we all can be when trying to do our jobs, daily errands or other mundane things in life...and we need to be aware/alert to possible dangers
call me paranoid, but i live in Los Angeles and at times i have to travel into rough areas on my job...also, i have a violent, crazy neighbor so every walk to my vehicle is a possible showdown...i am not going let myself be a victim

I have seen videos of people being shot, including police shooting criminals.
Never have I seen them just take off running after being hit point blank.
LOL @ anyone who thinks that is totally normal.
jsearles, I haven't frame-by-framed the video, but when I viewed it, it seemed like she ran at full speed off camera, and wasn't slowing down.
You also can't compare this to how animals react to being shot. Their bodies are built differently than ours, and often much bigger.
Paging Cleatus for definitive answer on how people react when you shoot them.
WTF are you talking about?
Remember the Walter Scott Shooting from a couple of months ago?
He was shot five times, three times in the back, once in the upper buttocks, and once in the ear, with at least one bullet entering his heart.
He still continued to run about 20 to 30 feet before falling down.
This was a real life shooting not one from the movies.
