Does he, not to my knowledge, I know he is a big domain name investment guy but where has he extorted in the past? If I buy a domain name and someone wants to buy it and the price point is too high for them of they flat out do not want to spend that amount suddenly the seller is an extortionist?

The way the extortion attempt went down was pretty accurate on my part. As I remembered your friend threatened to go to the media, courts and expose micon unless he paid 150 bitcoins or whatever the price was. I am pretty sure that qualifies as an extortion attempt by your friend.
