Fun peterdc fact, related to the boxing match:
Long before he was outed as a scammer, peterdc told me that he wanted to come down to watch the Barry/Micon match, and bring a few friends.
I gave Peter the info. Then we changed gyms at some point a few days beforehand (I forgot why), and I sent peterdc the new info.
Peter didn't get it, and showed up to the other gym, finding nobody. He called and left me a frantic message on my cell phone (it was too loud for me to hear it ring), complaining that we had pranked him and that he was super pissed.
I got this message in the middle of the match and attempted to call Peter and give him the correct location. He didn't answer.
Still didn't reach him for a few days, but finally he responded to me and told me he understood, and that "everything's cool".
Keep in mind that this was months before the scamming accusations came out, and months before he flaked on obligations to Brandon and others. So it's not clear why he feigned this outrage, unless he really was pissed and considered "punishing" us by leaving the community and not scamming anyone!
Anyway, he came back, and you know the rest.
Actually, I think the DD community got away mostly unscathed. I believe the only DD person actually scammed was Brandon, who was promised thousands of dollars of comps at a hotel Peter got for him, and then Peter vanished and didn't pay for them, so Brandon had to foot the bill. The rest of the scam victims were over at 2+2, and he had those in the works before he came to DD.
Whilst we're getting misty, me and my friend also turned up to the wrong gym in the middle of no where, but just before Peter and luckily Vegas1369 turned up in his truck too and took us to the real venue. I'm pretty sure Martha also showed and left a note/map there but Peter obviously missed it.
There were a couple of other DD'ers taken for 4figs by Peter, but I can't remember 100% so wont name them.
I actually made money from Peter from the NFL competition SFO!
