The Warriors are a machine. LeBron is god and will have an amazing series, but I just think that the Warriors have far too many weapons, are too deep etc.

What if Irving is only 50%? Even a 100% Irving is a shitty defender. The Cavs are like 7-8 deep at this point.

I really hope Cleveland wins; I'm a huge LBJ fan boy and something about Curry's game tilts me. I just think it's a no-brainer, even more so than last year when the Spurs were clearly better.
The Spurs were a Championship team with lots of experience/depth.

The Warriors have lots of depth. Thompson just isn't the same as he was during the regular season riding shotgun with Curry.

Despite the Warriors cruising through the West, they played New Orleans (meh), Memphis who was a good test and Houston who had problems mentally + injury + had more difficult earlier rounds so were worn down. The Warriors luckily avoided the Clippers, San Antonio, Dallas.

I don't think the Cavs are going to win in 4 games, but I'm saying they have a chance to win in 6 or 7.

And compared to last year, I would actually rather have

Irving + Lebron + JR Smith + Thompson + Mozgov + Shumpert + Dellavedova (too bad no Love)
    rather than
Wade + Lebron + Bosh + Allen (didn't shoot well) + Rashard Lewis (lol) + Battier (didn't shoot well) + Andersen (love him but he's only good for D) + Chalmers (just wasn't the same) + any others on bench.

I'm a lifelong Cavs fan, so I'm biased, but the reason I think they have a shot is the interior. When you saw Memphis give GS trouble those first few games, I saw the blueprint for this Cavs team to win, because Cleveland straight tore up Memphis on the inside out rebounding them by almost 20 with Gasol and Randolph healthy, yet those same Memphis bigs outrebounded the Warriors slightly for the series. Love played, but the reality is they haven't missed Love's rebounding. They're simply splitting his rebounds amongst TT, Lebron, and Mozgov. They do miss his spacing.

So by a long way, that Warriors small line-up with Draymond and 4 shooters has been their most + line-up, yet the Cavs will get 3 shots per offensive possesion against that line-up. So they'll have to go bigger, and Mozgov has beat up on Bogut in a limited sample, and they have multiple perimeter defenders to deal with that line-up. When they played late season, Kyrie actually held Curry to poor shooting and Draymond had no business on Lebron. I generally agree with you that Kyrie improved on defense this year, but is still a C- defender healthy. I actually hope hes like 80%, and they start Delly because he's a much better defender, and let Irving be points off the bench where Gokden State does have an advantage. That's optimal to me. Where Kyrie plays 30 minutes, but is primarily a 3 point shooter that they don't even try to put on Curry. I think you'll see Shump as the primary defender.

Most of us here in Ohio are seeing the Buckeye comparison, where all the injuries are kind of like our QBs going down, yet it has strangely worked out because now the Cavs have morphed into an elite defensive team where Lebron can create just enough offense to win. Those Love starting teams needed to score 110 every night. I actually think Shumpert and JR are the two guys who determine the series. Lebron will Lebron, but both those guys can defend and hit the open looks. If they play well, Warriors are in trouble.

Maybe he just had an off night but it looked like the Cavs were giving him fits defensively. All that said, Love was healthy and played that night. The Cavs are a much different team offensively (although better defensively) without Kevin Love.
Was Kyrie guarding Curry? Without Kyrie healthy it's going to be tough for the Cavs to win the series.

If I remember correctly, Kryrie guarded him a lot that game. I think Shumpert is a better defender though so your statement is bunk.

My greatest memory from that game was the loaded nachos topped with BBQ shredded pork from Elmore Smith's Smokehouse.

I think Golden State for the series is a great bet and they have had one of the all time great seasons. But I am really pulling for a Lebron takeover / epic beatdown. Not saying I believe that is going to happen but would be nice to see Lebron come up big

That would only possibly work when the Cavs don't have a PG on the floor otherwise it's going to create a huge mismatch somewhere else. The Cavs biggest concern should be figuring out how their role players are going to get good looks when GS doesn't double Lebron.

Damn! For a minute a bit ago I could have got the series at GS -180 on Bovada. It was available like that a few days ago but not today except for a moment.

I'm with you on all of this. By the way, that thing that tilts you about Curry is everytime he makes a shot he points to "God", that and he can't stop chewing on that fuckin mouthpiece.

Lebron, Kyrie and Love combined for 82 points that game. What do you predict they combine for tonight?

Lebron is going to score 82 himself tonight

Both teams really rusty so far. Favors Cavs for sure.
