    LEBRON!!!

I got the cavs +220 at the Hilton when I got to Vegas. I took more a few days ago at +200.

It's still a bargain at +180 at most places in vegas and online but will be +150 by the tip.

I will take more after gsw probably wins game one.

I can't think of any reason to go against
Lebron here. No one on gsw can guard him. Harrison Barnes? Lol they tried that and it didn't work. Draymond Green? LOL. They tried that it didn't work.

Someone tell me why on earth you think laying 2/1 at best on gsw is the play. I can't even come close to wrapping my head around that bet.

Yep. Fun to watch. They have a cute little enjoyable to watch squad. All those 3s won't drop against the hungriest of hungry defense the cavs will bring though.

I was going to mention that in the gambling thread...you're better off taking 25-30% of your bet before the series on Cleveland and then laying the wood after game 1 when i'm gonna guess they will be +300 or better if they lose...that price is going to be hard to pass up...

Someone told me they got a +500 prop bet on gsw to win game one and cavs to win the series. I can't find such a bet though?

And don't even tell me that niggadolla can guard LBJ.

Actually of all the guys probably Draymond Green has the best chance at guarding him.

But after his recent comments about hating fags I doubt he gets calls in his favor. (If you believe in such things)

Golden State is very good, but after that trade, Cleveland finished 15-1 against the west including 20+ beatdowns of the Clippers and Memphis. I think the Cavs will own the boards and they have multiple perimeter defenders. It wont likely be pretty on offense with a lot of Lebron iso stuff, but they should be able to bully GS over the course of the series. But its Cleveland, and a lot of people have went broke underestimating how fucking cursed Cleveland is. If Lebron tore his ACL 2 minutes into game 1 it would be the least shocking thing ever.

sounds like a big online book might have that bet...haven't seen it...

if you got +250 at all congrats...ACR hasn't moved from +200 and just looked at bovada and it's at +170...I think if they get smoked in game 1, I think ACR will move it up to like +260-320...I don't know at +170 I just don't see any value...

I mean Memphis was like +700-800 against golden state and I thought they had the best shot of any team out west of beating them...didn't help that conley was dinged going into that series and there is obviously a LeBron premium because he is the best, but just seems like too much of a spread...

Not 250. When I got to Vegas everyone was at +200 with Westgate sitting at +230...

By the time I got over there it was +220.

I'd never been to westgate/Hilton before. If anyone likes sports and are in town you should check that place out once.

    Massive.

    sorry, misread...+220 ain't bad...

id be curious what the price would be if golden state loses the first game...books can't shift it that much or they'd get fucked...wondering if it would go back to even money..

I don't think that the Cavs' recent defensive improvements are sustainable, especially against GSW.

Banged up Kyrie will actually have to play defense, and Love being out will start to matter now.

I bet it would go darn close.

Also bovada is the only book seemingly gambling for cleveland.

That game one line has sat at -6 everywhere forever at every single book but...

    There bovada sits at -5.5

    Fair play.

I simply can't see the KING losing in the finals to the GSW. Quite frankly, I witnessed some frailties in GSW's game in their last series versus the rockets. I actually think a healthy rockets team would have taken GSW out in 6. Yes, the splash brothers are fantastic guards, but I don't think the rest of the team can contribute enough for the title. Conversely, Tristan Thompson will dominate bogut; smith and shumpert were excellent additions; delavadova will hustle, and lbj will lbj.

And Kevin love will Kevin love. If they win he leaves. If they lose he stays. That's just my thinking without knowing the intricacies of contracts.

And I used to laugh at guys that said he would leave. Not anymore.

    *No such thing as curses.
    *Warriors are great at home.
*The Cavs will struggle on the road.
*The Warriors make superior adjustments from game to game and esp at the half. 3rd qtr is going to be all Golden State every game.
*Not being able to guard LBJ one on one matters for shizzle but he will not score 80 game and Golden state plays great team D.

In the closing seconds of a tie game seven sure let Lebron shoot. Cavs will never be in that situation. Lebron alone will not beat the best team in the nba just because the world has become spoiled by past great end of playoff game closers. The Cavs blow walrus dong. The trade helped a little, love out hurt a little. That will not stop them from being a poorly constructed team, from a lesser conference, with a coach they ignore.

Wrap your heads around Warriors in five.

I was at the game in Cleveland when the Cavs played the Warriors. The Cavs put a beatdown on them that night. I know, one game LULZ but no one on the Warriors can stop Lebron. He went for almost 50 that night. Green trying to guard Lebron was laughable. The other takeaway was that the Cavs pretty much locked up Curry. Maybe he just had an off night but it looked like the Cavs were giving him fits defensively. All that said, Love was healthy and played that night. The Cavs are a much different team offensively (although better defensively) without Kevin Love.

I'm surprised at the pro-Cleveland sentiment; for the life of me I can't see it.

The Warriors are a machine. LeBron is god and will have an amazing series, but I just think that the Warriors have far too many weapons, are too deep etc.

What if Irving is only 50%? Even a 100% Irving is a shitty defender. The Cavs are like 7-8 deep at this point.

I really hope Cleveland wins; I'm a huge LBJ fan boy and something about Curry's game tilts me. I just think it's a no-brainer, even more so than last year when the Spurs were clearly better.
