SNES is my favorite.
If you want to play FF7 again, get it on PC and check out its modding community.
Super Metroid, Donkey Kong Country, and Super Mario World were my favorite by far on the SNES
snes by far
And of course chronotrigger, ff series, zelda, Mario games etc etc.
A Link to the Past is the best game on the system imo. If you're into RPGs, Chronotrigger and FFVI are great.
sorry.....old fart here....
Atari
fuck the 2600....Im talking the original
Agree SNES, top 3 being: Chrono, FF3, Secret of Mana.
Playstation 2. I've spent years off my life playing the GTAs, Madden, MVP Baseball, Metal Gear Solid, and Socom (once they added the online capability).
I also have Dolphin, an emulator for the PC that emulates Gamecube and Wii games. I even use a sensor bar with the Wii controllers, it's pretty sweet and I am still addicted to throwing a frame in Wii Sports Results bowling each night, as well as Tiger Woods Masters 2012.
What's even better is that I can get certain games in 1080
og nintendo
mike tyson's punch out, zelda, contra
Top 3 game ever imo...

It's hilarious that we as a society think everyone can be a dr, a lawyer, an engineer. Some people are just fucking stupid. Why can't we just accept that?
The first time I ever saw and got involved into gambling (that didnt involve parents playing cards/betting on sport parlay cards/lotto) was at the arcade machines over SFII.
How could I forget?
The Texas instruments ti/99.. the only games I had were those "text" adventure games/puzzles. We actually bought it at Macy's basement and it had a velvet rope around it with a security guard, lol.. it was like 499.00 without the cassette drive or thermal paper printer that looked like a cash register receipt.
It has to be intelivision. The game utopia or b2 bomber with the voice module....
Colecovision was good too. That smurf game they had was like playing in a cartoon, back on the day of course...
Commodore 64 was also bad ass. Telengard was a great rpg game...
Don't laugh, also had the Aquarius by Mattel.. he man and the masters of the universe was a awesome game..
Shout out to thesparten for Donkey Kong on Colecovision.
I still have my SNES hooked up and play it. (I'm old!) My favorite is NHLPA '93, just like BetCheckBet said. Kevin Stevens wrap-around move is unstoppable.
Do you realize that the 2600 and the original were equivalent?
The original Atari was the "VCS", but it was just referred to as "Atari". The rebranding into 2600 came later, as they were releasing other Atari models and couldn't just call it "Atari" anymore. But they were identical (other than a change in design to make it look less '70s), and ran the same games.
