seals released a "presser" yesterday and also had another story on pokernews

in it micon says even though he had to run from the united states for running an unlicensed poker site, that hasn't deterred him and he is still unlicensed in Antigua ("although we are still exploring all options")

he needs to just fucking laylow for awhile, but he just can't stop himself

he is gonna learn the hard way. he is putting himself out there to be a martyr and risking his family's safety

his biggest worry at this point (among many) is making sure his wife & daughter don't get kidnapped by some locals looking to extort or jam him up for some cash

what a complete, absolute moron to invite trouble that he is ill-equipped to handle

he wants to live like an outlaw, but he will soon learn that life isn't as idealic as the picture he paints in his mind

he cant afford to lay low, his marketshare has gone from 100% of the bitcoins poker market to a fraction of it. not only have his core players unloaded their deposits to other brand new bitcoin poker sites, the major players are starting to ramp up their initiatives to accept bitcoins.

i expect martha and their kid will return to the states soon and micon will slip into a cunning little studio with roaches the size of sparrows in 'downtown' antigua while the 'negotiations' play out, after which i hope they just head to costa rica and ... something, i dont know what.

New Seals is not doing nearly as well as old Seals. New Seals has 35-50 players at tables when I checked, old Seals always had 120-175 from what I saw. I think Micon lost a good % of players who just dont trust him running it solo.

Such a great post. When you are doing something illegal, you want to maintain a low profile. Not be in the news. NOT be the one everyone, including law enforcement, associates as the head guy that will make headlines if busted. What is Micon doing? The exact OPPOSITE. He just can't help himself.

You do it because they're family and you're a sucker. Then they don't pay on time, dodge you, ...................., etc

Point is, his family already knows he'll need it back shortly. Mom probably didn't even deposit the cash, just has it on the night stand waiting for drunk Marty to ask for it back
