Well $50 didn't hold and I see this as a rinse. I am in $48.80
It ain't a 4 star setup - 15 minute and monthly look proper. Little cup & handle. - but I am committed to the gamble

Ralph Lauren RL and Wynn were two losers that I scalped about a buck each.
Lol RL down $30 and I got $1.10
Ralph Lauren is gonna be the first of many who wake up fucked over by the big US dollar.
But people have no place else to put their money than stocks and that will have a bad end soon.
Damn, down 30? Whats he at now? Used to watch from time to time. I forget last price i followed.
When the currency fluctuates like this, it's really interesting. Example is furniture stores who import from the USA.
My guess is they don't pay for the merchandise until it's sold in Canada.
So they had a 2000usd couch they figured would cost them ~2200 cdn, so they're selling it for 2800 for a 600 profit. All of a sudden in the past month now that 2000usd is actually 2500 so their profit is cut in half.
Reaction: They go bankrupt, liquidate all their holdings. 3 months later basically the same store is back in business under a new name. I'm not sure if this is somehow profitable on both sides of the border (ie are they in cahoots) or it's just the Cdn company fucking over the American one who writes it off as a loss for tax reasons.
RL has a few fans on the Fast Money desk. They even mentioned the possibility of going private again. Kohrs was another retailer mentioned in same blurb, popping recently.
NFLX is heading into Japan. Sell the news or $500 soon??
its had it's problems at the 458 area post earnings...got there last week, pulled back...got around there yesterday and pulled back...this coincided with an RSI of around 80...
I think if the markets keep chugging along and everybody is still in buy everything mode I don't see why it doesn't test 500...if we go back to a more "normalized" market where central bank manipulation is responsible for gains then no way in hell...
I keep PFA Skull & Bones on top
You might be able to open a futures trading account for $5,000 but I think $25,000 is the practical minimum.
I am "working" $50k cash all told most days. This is my comfort zone. I am flat cash end of every session. I got shit like Amaya/TASR that is not part of that chip stack that I am holding longer term.
I usually buy lots of 1000 when I scalp - I will trade on margin. I usually only trade/scalp one play at a time.
Example today
Long Crude Oil Futures Strategy: Buy LOW, Sell HIGH
1 contract=1000 barrels. "Big CL" .01 move = $10
$44,200 BUY 1000 barrels of crude oil at 48.80/barrel
$51,000 SELL 1000 barrels of crude oil at 51.00/barrel
+$2,200 PnL
Investment (Initial Margin) $5,000 (round number)
Return on Investment 44%
Oil ran from $51.20 -->> $52.20 tonight. Fuck it is 5am east coast. I am so sick... I need sleep. I love the thinner whippy market overnight

WWE continuing a nice daily move upward. Got TheSidedish to buy at 12.40. Testing 13.50 today, imo, on this upgrade.
Oil popping today again a bit.
Seems like every Friday it goes up, are the trading bots set to buy oil every Friday?
Let's look at energy movers
Circle Star Energy
OTC: CRCL Up 54%.
Well, alright then... Click
.0077 unch. today. 1000 shares for $7
I actually read the 10K & 10Q. I think this is a suicide note.
Cash derived from oil sales last year. Lost money. Gunshot, silence
I obviously don't share any financial information with people on this board, but I thought I may share these two stocks real quick since they seem to be pretty good:
1. REXX - Rex Energy - They hit an all time low of $2.47 a couple weeks ago and are currently sitting at about $5.20. They plan to announce earnings this Wednesday which I expect to be good. They were a customer of mine and have probably the largest reserve of natural gas in the Marcellus region. Very firm company. Most people are predicting this stock to go back up to $10-12. I bought in at several amounts getting me to an average cost per share of about $3 and it hasn't let me down yet. Stock could be good for long or short term trading and I expect this bounce to continue for a while. There may be some snags in these first 2 quarters but the second half of the year I expect it will probably hit the 10-12 range.
2. FLML - Flamel Technologies - Most experts were anticipating this to hit about $22 but a competitor was awarded an NDA on a drug FLML already has an NDA on. However, FLML is currently the only one selling the product. When the second NDA was announce to stock plummeted from about 19 a share down to 10 and is currently sitting about $13.50. I expect this one to rebound as well because shortly after the second NDA was announce they announced a major price increase on the drug with a firmer understanding of the future marketplace. It is a relatively low volume stock right now, but I think a lot of people are just holding to see what happens. I personally have bought and am holding at an average of about $14 per share, and expect to see a decent return by the end of the year on this.
