    Portland OTB still.

Bet over 96.5 on 2nd half of Atl game, currently 55-50 Hawks.

Also tempted to bet Hawks -0.5 -115 but won't.

This years Superbowl should be AFC Winner vs NFL REFS cause they are controlling the outcomes of these NFC games.

The worst call and if not a bad rule. Together with a host of bad NFL rules. Lions call was disgusting too.

if you like athletics, that was a fucking ballsy call and a spectacular catch.

But refs & rules is what is discussed more than the actual play on the field. Refs & rules seems to be what determines winners & losers in this sport

Finally one of my halftime bets is going well.

59 points in the 3rd quarter. Just need 38 in the 4th and I win the over.

I'm not sure why it was only 96.5. That's an insanely low halftime over for two teams with averageish scoring/points allowed, but whatever. Looks like I was right.

Atlanta up by 12. Sorry now that I didn't go with the Atlanta -0.5 at the half, but they just had a bad 2nd quarter, and I'm like 0-3 on "doubling my bet" on the same at halftime, so I talked myself out of it. Obv still rooting for it to win because I want to win my game bet which is almost the same!

That ref Statetore should be made to give the public a lecture on what exactly is a "football move". Apparently taking 3 steps and diving for the end zone is not....

So now Atlanta up by 26 and I feel stupid for doubting myself and not betting on the half.

But I need 2 points in the next 3:49 for the over, so at least I will go 2-0 on this thing, which is great after yesterday's massacre.

The reversal last week was bad but one guy saw it one way and I am ok with them botching that because it cannot be reviewed.

The problem this week is the guy caught it IN BOUNDS (which makes it deff from the calvin Johnson catch few years back) 2 feet down and made a move and then went to the ground.

How can they review this and fucking blow it? This was almost as bad as when Polamolu scored in OT 5 years or so back and they said you cannot advance a fumble in overtime or something like that

What is so hard to understand... full process... he used the ground to maintain control, its a no catch. He did not complete the process of the catch.

you must be watching a diff play. I say a catch a tuck, 2 steps , goes to the ground and ball out

Its no diff than a RB taking a handoff and fumbling, he had control

Bryant going to the ground. By rule he must hold onto it throughout entire process of contacting the ground. He didn't so it is incomplete.

Blandino is a clown. 99 % of the time he backs the officials. He had poss before he went to the ground so going to the ground should be irrelevant

I thought Calvin was robbed a few years back and could be making the spike motion from the ground just like I think Dez was robbed today.

People can say well that is the rule but it's fucking retarded and should have been changed long ago.

It was the rule in the end zone when it happened to calvin

What makes this play different it is in bounds. Once you catch the ball and have control the play is live. I think Dez caught the ball took 2 steps and the play was live. Once he has the 2 feet down and is moving forward it is a reception. What happens when he goes to the ground is up for debate whether he fumbles on his own when going down or a forced fumble occurs.

I agree the situations and rules are different but they both shouldn't exist. As for Dez he did take a few steps then it can be argued he extended for the TD which that caused the bobble/fumble motion afterward. If the catch happened without him diving up in the air coming down like he did or being able to take maybe one more step this play wouldn't even have been argued.

These rules also will never take into consideration how big the hands of Dez and Calvin are where a lot of other receivers may not have control of balls they do even if it appears wobbly (if that makes sense).

All I will say is the refs have way too much control in the current state of the NFL today and it's ruining the game.

Yeah that is looking good so far.

Missed it both when examining the lines as well as this post until right now.

Would have taken it, Memphis has played many consecutive low scoring games.

Public went over big time. Line went from 205 to 209.5! Wow

This is getting ridiculous. We had another thread back in 2012(I couldn't find it) with a similar situation. Change this stupid rule already.
