    Made a butternut squash and mascarpone ravioli. I cheated and used two wanton wrappers and rolled them together instead of using real dough. It took about five minutes to cook. I just rolled them up with some filling and put them in a pot of boiling water for about three minutes. I had a sauce pan of some browned butter waiting and once I put them ravs in I put it on med-high heat for about 2 minutes each side and added some fresh grated parm cheese on top when it was plated. It was money as an appetizer.

    So the other night I made a chili. It was bangin. We used elk our friend shot instead of meat. I will list ingredients.

    1/2 package of bacon.
    1/2 cup chopped onion
    1/2 cup chopped green pepper (optional)
    Chopped Jalapeņo (optional)
    Two or three cloves of chopped garlic.
    Small (6 oz) can of tomato paste
    1 pound ground beef. I used elk cause we had it
    1 16 oz can of diced tomatoes
    1 can each: kidney, pinto beans, gorganzola beans
    Approximately one cup beef broth, bullion or just water.
    Chili powder to taste -- usually needs kind of a lot.
    Salt and pepper to taste.
    1/3 cup siracha
    can of corn drained
    tblspn ground mustard
    ground oregeno to taste

    It's really easy.

    Also shread cheddar for toppng sour cream too if u like that

    Fry the bacon until crisp. Remove from pan. Add onion and peppers to pan and cook in bacon grease until onions are translucent. Add garlic and cook for a minute or so more stirring often and being careful not to burn the garlic.

    Add the ground beef and cook/stir until the beef browns.

    Add the tomato paste and cook for a couple of minutes stirring often -- that just takes away the pasty taste of the tomatoes paste.

    Add the canned tomatoes, kidney beans (don't drain) and enough liquid so that it's the right consistency.

    Add the chili powder, salt and pepper.

    Bring to boil and let simmer for at least an hour stirring occasionally.

    You can change this up kind of a lot -- it doesn't have to be exact. If it seems too soupy just keep the lid off while it simmers until it gets to how you want it.

    and ftr my gr told me to use deer, but i grabbed the wrong pack. We have so much awesome meat its sick. Mt gf's parents split 2 full cows with 3 people and they have two freezers that last them two years if they ate them all but they give so many away. We have like 7 different cuts in our freezer and fouir animals. big perk of co living.

    Ok so next is dessert. I made a small one this time because I wasn't as hungry as last night. It's so easy and so good.

    You can make it as big as you like. Roll it into a ball like this and use max paper to sit it on. Trust me is helps.

    Once thats done. Grab another wax paper and put it in top. Than you take the metal pie thing and put it on the ball and press down as if you were making a nice thin burger so it cooks nice and even.

    Once it's pressed to how you like it and fits your pan. Put it on there and use the wax to your advantage so it doesn;t crumble.

    SO ignore the directions if its a huge cookie than go for it, but i like to just keep checking to make sure its soft and nice. Here was my cookie. I only do half caramel. The cookie is so good alone.

    Finally i like to do really thing svaed pieces of ice cream. I take it out of the freezer when I start this process and let it melt a bit. It's all preference. Also I do a nice ring around the edge of the bowl. erfect for guest. Cut it like pizza. Just make enough of the cookie dough,
