Based on my 15 years worth of experience living in Mexico I've decided to put together an extensive checklist of rules to follow to keep my fellow Americans safe and out of harms way.

#1 Don't deal drugs. Nothing will get you beheaded quicker except maybe being a journalist in Syria.

#2 Try not to kill anybody. This is a good idea no matter what country you happen to be in.

#3 Don't protest and riot while blocking the highway to a major resort town such as Acapulco. This can cause millions in lost tourist dollars and somebody will eventually get tired of this and pay to have you killed.

#4 Mind your own fucking business. As difficult as this may be for some to do, always remember that you are a guest in another country and they don't always play by the same rules.

Kids, if you can follow these simple rules you will have an excellent chance of surviving in Mexcio and having a wonderful vacation/retirement.

      cmoney: very solid advice sir
Just because you can doesn't always mean you should.

The problem with the world today is that nobody does anything based on principal anymore.

If you reach your 80's, consider your life in overtime. Sudden death overtime.

I'll never understand how swimmers get bitten by sharks. Can they not hear the music?

Good advice for any foreigner in any country but even more important in some countries. Nice to have man's best friend by your side.

Tyde is discovering shit we all did when we were 16-18 camping with our highschool friends.

-firewood check. No parents, throw some extra lighter fluid on Tyde!
-tequila check. Don't drink too much hangovers are brutal.
-cooked potatoes check. Marshmallows and hotdogs are great too.

I don't know what is up your ass with me lately but fuck right off son.

Do you always bite a hand that feeds you? I threw you a few pstars bones and would do many more until you started posting retarded replies in threads I start.

I camped a lot this summer in Wyoming, and while it's kind of fun, I'm not sure if I'll still do it next summer.

The day/night of doing it is fun: hiking, gathering wood, cooking, drinking, smoking etc.

The day after is horrible. I guess it's not as bad if you can sleep well in a tent but I always sleep poorly and waking up to the blazing sun half hungover from no sleep reeking of campfire smoke really sucks. I am always 100% useless the day after camping.

you can talk all the shit you want about Mexico, but where I live (Ensenada), the weather is consistently fabulous and there are plenty of amazing places to eat and the people are nice

which is a hell of lot more than I can say for Canada...

which is going to be cold as fuck very soon, and the whole country is packed full of complete assclowns

Canada is way better than USA imo. If i could trade in my USA citizenship for Canadian one, and didnt have ties here, I would in a second.

Canada is so great that three times as many Canadians move to the USA than vice versa even though we have hundreds of millions more people.

i am sure 90 percent of this is because of jobs. The job market or the ability "to make it big" is limited in Canada. If you already have money though or want to retire, it has a lot things better than the usa imo

Agreed, it's all about the benjamins or retirement. Once you're > 50 I'm sure you don't appreciate the winters as much.

And for the record I have no problem with Mexico....I do like to vacation there.

The winters are actually not terrible depending where you are in Canada. Big difference between Toronto and Vancouver (which i like a lot). Vancouver has some of the most friendly people of any city I been to. It is also ridiculously clean in the parts i have been to. Hot chicks everywhere. Top five city imo

Major cities I like a lot:

Prague, San Francisco, Vancouver, Tokyo, Amsterdam, Buenos Aires

Come to Puerto Vallarta one time and I think you'll add it to your list.

I noticed Las Vegas isn't there.

    Will do, thanks for offer.

I actually am starting to dislike Vegas and pretty much only go now if I have business there. It is just too much booze , gambling and stimulus and I have little self control while there. Mostly because there really isnt anything else to do. I am actually on my way there today and not really looking forward to it. It was a good run but my mind/body definitely doesnt bounce back from Vegas the way it used to. This is the first trip I am actually going to try to use some self control except on Sunday when meeting up with Drexel to fire on games. If anyone happens to be there same time, fire me a PM.

    THIS

After living in CO this past year and camping pretty much weekly. Everytime we go too, my girlfriend wants to go on this exotic hike the day after camping when I've slept probably 2 solid hours total, and usually have to take a giant shit.
